For three decades, Dos Hombres in Clifton has been my folk's go-to restaurant and has been the site of countless family meals and celebrations. This is a quality restaurant, with exceptional Mexican fare, served in a gracious, tasteful setting. Service is always spot-on. This family-owned restaurant is an ideal place for a date, a birthday, or a simply delicious meal without the kitchen fuss.

I have been to many Starbucks in The Grand Valley (named after the Grand River, now called the Colorado River), many Starbucks in Colorado, and many Starbucks in different states. They are all pretty much the same: a very good place to get coffee and expensive good tasting snacks. A few stand out above the rest. This one in Clifton was one of those great ones, the people worked there made it that way: I went there frequently. However, now Joseph no longer works there, and Autumn no longer works there, and some other really nice employees who became friends (whose names I forgot) no longer work there. Joseph is a computer tech, and would help customers on his free time. Now this Starbucks is just average for standard Starbucks. The Starbucks on 24 Road is the nicer one now.

Nestled in the heart of Palisade, The Palisade Café 11.0 is a farm-to-table fresh Palisade eatery, offering local produce, wines, beers, and ciders, artfully prepared, in a relaxed, unpretentious cafe setting. Cuisine is "New American" while the house specialty is Authentic Spanish Paella (Thursdays only for now). A delightful Sunday Brunch is 10-3. Local artists' work adorns the walls, a local potter provides much of the dishware, the bakery next door is our source for breads and, and two major providers of our produce are 4 minutes away. Palisade wineries vinify all the noble varietals: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, etc. and The Palisade Cafe 11.0 is very proud to say we have ONLY local wines on our list! Cherries start arriving mid-June and the peach season runs until October, to round out our tasty offerings, so please join us today! Thank you very much!..John & Marti
After reading a few reviews, we stopped in with high expectations...and got blown away. We had wonderful crafted bar drinks, perfect local wine, served up in a fun atmosphere, with excellent live acoustic music. And then...some superbly planned and executed pieces of culinary wonderfulness. I'm disappointed we'd eaten and only tried the Ahi and the St Pat's Day "Black & Tan" potato appetizer. Both were so well thought out, one could see the staff plotting over and over just how to tweak some detail. BOMB! Don't miss it.

Café Sol strives to use our local farms to provide our customers with fresh, locally sourced, made from scratch food. Serving breakfast, lunch and espresso. We offer custom catering and private evening events.
We're so grateful for this little downtown eatery: real, healthy food, much of it organic & locally-sourced. It's a bright, friendly environment with booths, tables & small outdoor patio for good weather. Good music too, & NO televisions (thank you!). Real napkins, silverware & glasses for eat-in dining. You order at a counter but the food is brought to your table by efficient, friendly (& overworked) servers. They do a huge take-out business as well. We've not yet tried breakfast, but are looking forward to it.
Everything we've had here is delish (tho one of my husband's paninis was actually too smothered in cheese). Otherwise, the paninis are wonderful, & you have to be really hungry to finish a whole one. I LOVE the salads, chock-full of good stuff, & even the "small" salads are filling. Every day there are different soup & quiche choices ~ & the half-&-half combos are a great deal. Lots of interesting sides to add. Also, there's a case of fresh dessert-type breads & pastries; everything we've tried so far is fresh & wonderful.
There are lots of smoothie options, serve-yourself fresh fruit-&/or-herb water, as well as coffees, teas, beer & wine. Cafe Sol is open daily 8 - 3:30 & we go often.

I am just not a fan. I have eaten here multiple times (on the days my normal Chinese spot is closed). I just always come away disappointed and feel like I paid too much for that disappointment.
I love soup and especially love soups at Chinese restaurants. I am not fussy - I will happily chow down on a good egg drop, wonton, or hot sour soup. But here - none of them taste good to me. Wontons are old and tired, broths are non-descript to soapy, and I wish I hadn't had them. Apps - no thanks. Pot stickers have an oddly textured/flavored filling (they used to be better, but then tasted "cooked from Sysco" style). Egg rolls are greasy and bland (to be fair - I haven't found a good egg roll in town).
And I haven't found an outstanding entree. The egg foo young is gloppy veggies on top of small, greasy hockey pucks of eggs. Kung Pao chicken was edible - but didn't have the spice or texture that it should.
I did like the mu shu pork. And that is my go-to here. Lots of cabbage and they give you enough wrappers to enjoy it. My husband liked the teriyaki chicken - it was a huge serving of stir fried small bits of chicken thigh in a slightly sweet soy sauce - with a few token broccoli bits.
So - order carefully. There is a bar, and that might be the redemption here for some. Prices are significantly higher than at other local establishments. But if you are here and need some Chinese .... well, here it is.

Service was EXTREMELY slow!!!! This was the second time we have tried Enzo's and unfortunately was not impressed! Food is overpriced! Thank goodness for Alyssa, or we would have been overcharged for everything too!!! She wasn't even our waitress but she still tried to make our visit better! Thanks Alyssa!!!

I ordered 2 eggs (scrambles), 2 sausage patties, hash browns, whole wheat toast with home made peach jam (I had 2 other choices of home made jam, but...MoreThanks for your review, we offer made from scratch food and appreciate your comments.

Our dining experiences in the Clifton area were mostly abysmal, quite frankly, so we were thrilled on our last morning in the area to stumble upon this diner. We had a lovely breakfast with unstoppable coffee...and wonderful, WONDERFUL service. We highly recommend Randy'sThank you so much for your review! So glad you found us! Enzo's serves up Grand Junction's finest Italian fare with exciting dishes and comfortable ambiance. We will only serve the finest meats and seafood, freshest vegetables, our pizza dough and breads are prepared and baked fresh daily. At Enzo's every dish is created using only the freshest, and finest ingredients. Great, real Italian that melts in your mouth! That's how customers describe our menu. The reason our cuisine is so fabulous is because we take the time to prepare everything from scratch, from our pizza and bread to our pasta sauces and key dishes.
The food is terrific but the last time we were there the bartender (Tiffany) sarcastically asked if I wanted more lettuce when I inquired if they didn’t get the salad order mixed up. I ordered a side salad and my husband’s meal came with a salad. He got the bigger salad. It was no big deal but there was a better way to handle it besides acting like she was doing us a favor by even serving us and treating me like she was insulted I even asked. She completely ruined my evening.
