This a small town. Nice view. It’s typical breakfast spot. We had a good breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

There are 7 Chinese restaurant around the perimeter of our lake. We have tried them all and each have their own twist. But maybe Happy Garden we should consider the best. Really it's 2 restaurants in one. They serve both Chinese & Thai at the same place. You can even mix & match as we have done in the past. But the Chinese is out of this world only equaled to maybe in Southern California. Of all of these types of restaurants it's unfortunate that it happens to be the furthest from our home in Kelseyville. Yes Clearlake Oaks is on the northern side. It's all the way on the other side of the lake. So we don't travel there as much as we would like. But on special occasions we make sure that we do. We did go just the start of the new year but have gone many times each of the 11 years up here since we retired. They also have friendly faces & service to go with the great food. The selection is just too large to go into it but you can't go wrong no matter what you order. They serve large portions but the pricing is reasonable. You never have to fight with your meat like some places for everything just seems to melt in your mouth. They always look busy & full but we never had to wait. Both are a good sign we seem to never have the crowds like in the big cities down south. We seem to eat more dinners than lunch but have done both. You sure will like this place when you do try it.

We heard good things about this place and were disappointed it had moved from Lucerne. You can find them in Clearlake (the town) by Redbud park. On the Friday we visited they had a guitar player that was pretty good. Not many people in the place. The food however was just ok. I recommend the fresh spring rolls with shrimp. Really that was the only thing we had that was decent. The special garlic chicken was bland and the Larb chicken salad was plain awful (I couldn't eat it).

It's on every other website, Facebook, Google, yelp, yellow pages..etc etc and its the saving grace of Clearlake
This is an interesting and more sophisticated restaurant in Clearlake. I ordered the salmon taco, which was excellent, and the Chile relleno, which was mediocre (mostly just a mass of melted cheese).
Nice atmosphere, good service.
They also have an outdoor patio.
Good salsa bar with a variety of heat levels.
It's difficult to notice from the street due to a lack of good signage, so make sure you have the address so that you don't miss it.

This place is great for your ice cream fix. They have everything from shakes to banana splits. I asked for a chocolate chip shake and it's not even on the menu and they made it for me anyway without question. If you are in the mood for a good home made style burger it's a great place for that as well. Very friendly and professional staff.

Lakefront Diner and music venue. Enclosed and open patio seating. Seating also on lawn area during warm season. Outdoor music stage. Live music 3-4 days per week weather permitting. Property includes beach, pier and boat dock for boating customers. Theme is classic 50s diner, with bar (beer and wine). Local favorite gathering spot for vintage car crowd.
The place was recommended for the burgers and did not disappoint. Service was spotty, with a new trainee, but staff was very friendly and pleasant. Prices okay. Will go back.
