I love there coconut macaroons, they are my favorite. They have good doughnuts, lots of baked goods to choose from like cookies, cakes, brownies, etc... Rice Krispy treats, doughnut holes, bear claws, pigs in the blanket, etc... Local favorites fruit cake, honey, cane syrup.

i am handicapped so it is nice that there is a parking space available just across from the entrance. the employees are thoughtful and helpful. the food is fast and good. the building is old, so best of all, there is a new dq going up adjacent.

We have eaten here a few times since visiting this area. The last two times we have dined here on Friday night it was bad. This past week I ordered fried flounder. There may have been two tablespoons of meat and burnt crust. Fries were cold and too tough to chew. Hush puppies were the same. They were not real busy and twice now it has taken us 35 minutes to get our food. My spouse ordered Bbq and his onion rings were burnt also. Don't think we will be going back. It's now hit or miss.

My family and I decided to try Harry's BBQ & Seafood last Friday after seeing an ad for them in our local cable TV bill. Wasn't aware of the place, but we're glad we stopped by.
My father-in-law and I both had the 1/2 rack of ribs. They had a deep, smoky flavor and needed no sauce to enjoy. The sides were good and plentiful as well.
My wife had the chopped (or pulled) pork. It was good, but not as smoky as the ribs.
My son had the brisket sandwich. It was smaller than he was expecting, which was the only disappointment. Next time he'll get the platter like the rest of us.
Overall the meal was delicious and we'll be back to try some other items on the menu.

My favorite in Claxton! Just moved to town and am so happy I found Hoody's Hoagies! Their food is so good! Everything I have tried so far has been delicious.

The restaurant primarily uses a buffet style service now. The "broasted chicken" is very good. It is a fried chicken without the grease texture. The vegetables were well prepared, and the service was attentive. We stopped here when I was driving through because I used to eat at the restaurant 40 years ago. The decor and appearance has not changed much. A good place for lunch.

I often slide into McDonalds for a cheap ice cream cone and in the last four months have been advised Sorry sir we are cleaning our ice cream machine. Why do this on a warm Sunday afternoon or other times right after school gets out? Have often gone in or thru the drive thru and picked up a meal or two. Always very friendly staff and the same good quality products ...

This is a tiny little cafeteria off the beaten path that is short on amenities and long on what counts -- excellent food at a good price. There isn't even a menu. Just ask what Kevin's cooking today. At lunch time there is also a small steam table. Great traditional soul food with some Jamaican thrown in. My family got take-out several times while we were in town and it was all delicious.

Traveling through, stopped for a quick lunch. Parked our 55 ft. RV & tow across the street. Fast friendly service, clean restaurant. Sandwiches made to order!

Krispy Chic has several locations but has managed to maintain quality. It's almost all fried....but very good and reasonable prices. Chicken is the mainstay but the flounder sandwich is very good.
