The most striking impression of this restaurant was the elaborate and dazzling presentation of the dishes. Individual dishes (such as entreés an desserts) were artistically laid out, and courses meant to be shared were presented on very large platters, groaning with delicious looking food. I am rarely swayed by the presentation of food, but on this occasion I think that it is worth a detour to eat there.
I wish I could wax lyrical about the food as well, but while very good there were some downsides.
The dishes were very tasty, but to extract that taste all of the oven roasted, or grilled dishes that we tried were covered in a bread crumb and herb mixture that while tasty was also heavy in (very good) olive oil. Apart from making all of the food taste very much the same, it was certainly not going to ensure a slim waist. I guess that you need to set your own priorities in judging which side you want loan towards.
And I can't close this without mentioning the excellent pasta made before your eyes as you enter the restaurant. Prices were also quite reasonable.

We are devotees of the cuisine of central Italy. But, being coastal Californians, we began to feel withdrawal symptoms after a few weeks without truly fresh fish. Italian friends from Lake Como suggested we make the 1-hour trip to Civitanova in Le Marche and dine at Galileo. The restaurant is right on the beach and you can make a day of it by renting an umbrella and lounge chairs and catching some sun on the Adriatic shore either before or after a fantastic dining experience. The seafood choices were numerous, the preparation was perfect and the presentation matched that of the finest restaurants we have experienced. Chef Maria Rosa Tarantini and her husband, Stefano, own and operate the restaurant and the beach facility, including a snack and beverage 'shack' for those who prefer to eat in sunbathing attire and on the beach. The Waitstaff, Nicola and Simone, were welcoming and attentively engaging. We look forward to several return visits over the rest of the summer.

Zero733 is a venue, a restaurant, a meeting point where there is no place for homologation and whose rallying cry is originality; it’s a piadineria, that proposes piadinas with local flours cooked in front of you in a visible kitchen; it’s a salad house, that offers healthy, original, creative salads made with local and genuine products; it’s a burger restaurant, that proposes a good selection of artisan and tasty hamburgers with fanciful and original combinations; it’s a alehouse, that features a careful selection of national and international handcrafted beers, good to match with all kind of piadina in any moment of the day: a work lunch, an original happy hour, an enjoyable dinner, a cheerful after-dinner. It’s a bet, for the way we work, for the desire to do and to be committed in something new, that arises from the most genuine origins.
Great, nice piadineria in center of the city. Piadine in many kinds, ways and tastes! Also very good beers. Great staff! For sure to come back when we are again in Civitanova!Dear Prilla, Thanks for your visit and for your positive review. We are very glad to have met your request. We tried this restaurant on the previous TripAdvisor recommendations--and the owner was very aware of his TA status of serving high-quality food. We started our meal with complimentary appetizers. The owner was very personable and checked on us often. (I think that we were the only people in the restaurant who weren't "regulars". I think we were the only tourists in the entire town!) The seafood selections were fresh and delicious and we enjoyed everything that we tried. The wine list was extensive and featured wines from all over Italy. I would definitely return to the restaurant if I were ever in the area again.

From this philosophy the Maylea sushi bar is born, a small bar in the center of the Promenade of Civitanova Marche . For the Japanese sensibility pleasure procured from food is made up of many components: visual, gustatory and tactile. Japanese cuisine is therefore a multisensory experience that involves taste, and even before the aesthetic sensibility, prompted by the beauty of the presentation of the food, the harmony of colors in the pot, the balance of the combinations. In Japanese cooking that we present the flavors should blend in maintaining their essence, without confusion. That is why we reject the transformation of the food, the artifice, the decorations bizarre, that would go to corrupt the natural flavor of foods . These are the strengths and strongholds in the kitchen of Marco Foglia, owner of Maylea, who by his own admission he describes as a simple fan of the kitchen more "beautiful" in the world. The services that the Maylea sushi bar offers are those of a small restaurant with an extensive a la carte menu with the possibility to take away and home Delivery. The selection of wines, beers, sake and tea are specifically designed to accompany the meal Japanese.
A very nice piece of Japan...simple as japanese restaurants are...quiet charming a place where you are very comfortable to be...but a precise cut of the fish...and traditional spices.
Enjoyed to prove an italian Proseco to harmonize with japanese food. Have everyone out of Italy ever seem?????

Stella Marina is nice, little, intimate neighborhood place, one block off the beach in Civitanova. It's clientele is probably 98% local. I really like the food--fresh seafood, lots of specials, menu varies according to the catch. The waitresses are friendly and overall the service is good. Despite this, why a "3"? The simple reason is that they rush you through the entire experience. It's annoying. You're seated and, literally, in 20 seconds they're looking for a drink order. Let me me adjust the seat cushion and pick-up the menu first! 90 seconds later the owner/head-waiter is standing over you asking for your order. I appreciate efficient service, but, there's a distinct impression that they want to turn your table as soon as possible, so hurry up and order, hurry up and eat. It's unpleasant and ruins the vibe of a local neighborhood seafood trattoria. The food is delicious. The grilled sardines are amongst the best in town. Frequently they have spectacular, big whole fishes that are ideal for two. Their swordfish is simple and delicious. But, give me 4-5 minutes to read the menu, talk with my dinner companions and, after I order, permit me to basically enjoy my dinner and my night out. Being from NY, originally, the thing I have aways loved about living in Italy is that restaurants rarely push you or hurry you through a meal. I have never had that experience in Civitanova, except here at Stella Marina. The place has a lot going for it - friendly staff, good food and a neighborhood feel. But, that annoying "HURRY UP" approach is a big negative.

The specialty is meat, especially proposal with minimal cooking to respect and infatizzare the flavors. The fillets, steaks, cut into large pieces and spit are tasty thanks to the slow cooking and at the right distance from the coals. How to outline the bottles from the cellar, but only a territory. So good wine and good meat are the king and queen of our kitchen
My wife is from this region, so we were thinking of having a pleasant evening out with her mother and father, it was unanimous. We had to visit this beautiful restaurant again.
The staff are friendly and have the right balance of attentiveness. On the evening that we visited the restaurant it was busy which is a good sign for me that the locals enjoy eating here.
We had a number of courses for our meal. The ones that stood out for me was the ravioli which had pumpkin and ricotta cheese and a green source. Wow!
The evening was crowned with the meat. A man at a table near ours shouted out 'where else can you go to get meat like this?' I couldn't put it any better than this.
Our meat was prepared over their grill. It had the right amount of searing to bring out the flavours but not make it bitter. Truly outstanding!
The chef Antonio came to our table to enquirer if all was alright.
I like his style of preparing meat, he knows what he is doing!
For me this is a good and honest restaurant and I would recommend that if ever you are in the Civitanova, Le Marche area give this place a try.
Well done to everyone at this wonderful place.

The "glass of bracket" was a courtesy that it reserved to the patrons of the inns, in other times; last drink that was offered by the host when you had one foot in the stirrup, about to leave the cozy warmth of the room to resume their journey. In this spirit, we want to invite you into our restaurant where you can taste our specialties, try the selection of wine and beer to the glass of farewell, with which you will greet with best wishes for a safe journey and return as soon as possible and visit
Busy spot for lunch for local business men - both in suits and in overalls. Amazing home made buffet selection, to which you can add a primo, or secondo. Also pizza at lunch which is rare. Prices are just unbelieveable and include water, wine, and cafe. Amazingly fast service. Genuine home cooking and service. Returned several times

We went with a group of friends, water was served after forty five minutes and our order was taken after an hour. Very bad mannered server, they even made a mistake and brought out a wrong order. Food was fresh, that is the only thing positive about the place. Go back? Never.
