You’ll find 17th-century, Italian-style buildings and an interesting old cathedral here. However, many travelers are drawn to Ciudadela’s lively nightlife and fiestas, including the Processo dels Tres Tocs on January 17 and a celebration of Sant Joan, the town’s patron saint, on June 23–24. They feature dancing, parades and pomada, a drink combining gin and lemon.

We have been holidaying in Menorca for many years and this restaurant rates at the top of our favourite places to eat .
A word to the wise this is a restaurant for people who like meat , wonderful service and pleasant ambience.
For starters it's difficult to pass the prawns and advocado ,a wonderful combination with complementary flavours.
All the meats on offer as main courses are excellent,I would suggest the steaks to those who appreciate red meat perfectly cooked and presented,
My wife ordered chicken on our most recent visit and it was cooked just as she requested, moist and full of flavour.
Myself and my extended family can not recommend this restaurant highly enough, primarily for the food but also for the efficient, welcoming service.

In 2004 we came to Ciutadella happy to start a new project. In the old quarter of Ciutadella, in a little restaurant with a cozy open air courtyard... We love to travel and to cook the dishes than we enjoy in our travelling around the world. Woks and asian curries, tempuras, salads and homemade burgers.. Leave space for our desserts!! Menu for kids available.
We were a large table and all shared the tempura prawn/vege starter- delicious! Then there was a mix of Thai Red Curry - spicy! And Prawn/Chicken Pad Thai- all polished off! Great portion sizes too. Would def recommend.

In one of the quietest streets of the old town of Ciutadella you will find our Pizzeria Roma, where you can not only enjoy its family charm, but can also enjoy their delicious dishes. Here you can find some of the best pizzas in the whole island, as they are baked in a natural wood oven. You can also enjoy a good piece of Menorcan meat or if you prefer one of our fresh fish of the day. Another thing that makes this place special is its past because it was once a bakery that sold and elaborated fresh bread. Due to its location you can also enjoy sitting on our Terrace in the street to enjoy its tranquility and charm.
We came across this restaurant by pure chance having had drinks down by the marina earlier. This is a very reasonably priced restaurant and the weather was good enough early evening to sit outside. Inside there is Seating upstairs and downstairs and it did get rather busy later on with people coming in to reserve a table for later.
My 3 adult children ordered a different pizza each and have to say they were excellent. My son is a pizza chef in the UK using the traditional wood fired pizza oven and he commented on how good the pizza bases were cooked - and he should know!
I shared a rather enjoyable bottle of Rose again very reasonable.
All in all a lovely local restaurant in a lovely location with great service.
I actually left my phone here on the table and was not able to return to pick it up. I emailed the restaurant and without hesitation emailed me back so they could post it back to my UK address.
That's service for you!
This was my first time to Menorca and I will definately be back to this beautiful town and to the Pizzeria Roma!

Mediterranean cuisine. We love local and seasonal products.
Saturday night, last weekend of season. We tried to book a table for 2 in at least five restaurants. No chance. We visited two at 7pm - no chance. Then we decided to give Smoix a go and were surprised to encounter a sensible manager...MoreThank you for such a positive review. We would love to see you back soon in Smoix, so you can taste some other dishes from Miquel.

If you’re looking for salubrious surroundings keep walking. If it’s grand fare you’re after you’ve found your place.
It’s brightly lit with not a lot of attention to the decor but who cares. There’s music playing and a lively atmosphere all round...and it’s full. Always a good sign.
The prices are reasonable but when you factor in the sizes of the dishes it’s a real bargain
The pulpo a la Gallega is the best I’ve had outside Galicia. The lacón beautifully tender, and the tuna empanada very tasty. It’s difficult to go wrong with pimientos de padrón and they didn’t disappoint either. If there was one down side the portions didn’t leave any space for dessert. All in all a spectacular example of typical Spanish ‘pub food’.

We ate here on a recent trip to Ciutadella. Its a fairly small restaurant with lovely decor (I think its an old iron works?!) and the food and service was excellent.
We shared a mixed salad to start (far more exciting than it sounds as it had bacon, fruit and nuts involved!) and I had the Menorcan lamb chops with tempura vegetables and my wife the "fish of the day" for main. Both meals were fantastic along with a bottle of Binitord wine. The dessert (Caramel foam and chocolate rocks) was simple superb!
I'd highly recommend.

Brakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Beers, Cocktails, Combined Etc...
We really wanted to eat here again after great experiences on previous holidays. We were not disappointed we had breakfasts which just cannot be beaten and evening meals which were lovely fresh tasty food served by pleasant attentive staff. If you are staying nearby make a point of eating at Castaways.

A great find away from the main strip. Serves great pizza and pasta dishes and the almond cake dessert, which is hand made by the nuns in the convent opposite, is the best we ever tasted. Friendly staff and perfect alfresco dining.

We stumbled across this lovely little place not far from the main bus station. It's situated in a lovely side street and very typically Spanish.
We had 3 beers and two beautiful sandwiches for 12.90 euros... perfect... recommend to all.. we went with our 3 year old and it was perfectly safe for her to play
