After Reading the reviews of El Tragadero we just had to find out for ourselves what the intrigue and acclaim was all about. It's in a nondescript neighborhood, and totally unassuming, however, once through the door and inside it's as if time has stood still. It's deja vu into another era in time! Clearly it has a loyal local following, and was packed yesterday upon our arriving shortly after 3PM. The menu's not extensive, and meat focused. The foods is norteno fare, with hearty proportions. While we enjoyed our experience, we agreed the food was not the best we have experienced. This place is all about a flash back in time.

To experience local culture representative on northern Mexico you have to eat at crisistomo.
Watch the locals order their favorite burrito made of different Mexican traditional dishes on a fresh flour tortilla, always with a spread of beans in order of importance (my fav)
Chile relleno
Chile colorado
Mole
Frijoles con queso

We just went there with a business group, we got in and realized some of our team members had not arrived so we asked them to wait before assigning a table to confirm who was gonna show up.
Our group arrives and when we got back in, a waiter making tortillas says we cant go to the Terrace and that we better hurry up and accept whichever table because everything is now closed, kitchen, etc (huh?).
We leave the place extremely frustrated and another waiter walks out, puts his hand in my shoulder and says, if you are from this town (i am not) you should know better, you should've accepted the table the 1st time you came in.
Poor service, rude staff, awful experience.

Typical Mexican Food, tacos, quesadillas, it's allways full
Service was excellent and value was great. Salsa and toppings bar was constantly being re-stocked (so it's always fresh). Decent variety of tacos, but no fish or shrimp, so you're limited in the selection. The meat in many of the tacos was overcooked and hard without much flavor. Some of the locals say this is the 'greasy' taco place and they don't like it much. As a visitor, I would go back to try other tacos.

Restaurante de comida mexicana en Ciudad juarez Chihuahua tiene varias sucursales
The first supper we had there we thought it was fine. The second time I ordered the Tortilla soup which was so salty it was inedible. After that we were afraid to come back

Viva Mexico is an excellent place to take the family and experience a memorable evening. Food is great and the servers are always professional. At 9:30 pm the show start and an amazing group of actors and horses perform. It is 2 miles from the international border so safety is not a fear factor.

This place is a whole disaster. Today I had a lunch with a client and 2 managers from Houston. From 4 orders 3 came wrong, I ordered salmon raviolis with 3 cheese sauce, raviolis were shrimp and not salmon, sauce didn't have cheese, just cream and a bunch of flour, totally disgusting. One manager ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, his entree came without chicken, another person ordered arrachera with mushrooms, it came arrachera and baked potato even when this guy made an specific request with No Potatoe! Only taquitos de costilla came correctly. I would pay for not going there anymore.

Great time with my wife. Queso Fondido with Rajas [cheese fondue with chili strips] and fajitas! Good service in Spanish, waiter had limited English.

We came here because of all the good reviews, however it was disappointing in general.
The lasagna was mushy, the steak was overcooked and the pizzas not great.
Even the dessert, tiramisu, was not that good.
Not sure if we came here on a bad day for the cook.
We really expected something awesome and it turn out to be less than average.

Dined 'Great American Land and Cattle' Reataurante location at the Plaza Los Missiones for dinner on Tuesday, March 21st. It's the typical mall franchise with a commercial 'upscale' ambiance of several different dining areas. Our meal selection of a prime aged T-bone and center-cut ribeye were prepared to PERFECTION. We also choose delicious house and Caesar salads, and a double-baked Russet potatoes to share with our entries, and a bottle of Argentinian Valle de Mendoza melange Syrah-Malbec wine. We recommend this restaurant for its quality, well prepared cusine rated 9 out of 10.
