My wife celebrated her 50th class reunion and her class picked this pizza place. We even heard about it back home in Sarasota at Dillard's from a clerk! She was from there and said you guys are going to a great place! She was right! Not only could they handle regular Friday night clientele, they could also handle 165 of us with ease. Pretty impressive! All kinds of pizza and salad and we can't wait to tell the clerk!

Went there with our 92 year old cousin, a place she's been many times. Only complaint was handicap parking, a distance from entrance sine they put in outdoor seating. We're promptly seated and service outstanding. Food good hot and decent portions. Prices reasonable. Were there on a Saturday nite and they had entertainment. A great singer which our cousin thoroughly enjoyed!. Will definitely return

Whenever we visit Flossmoor, this time for a class reunion, I like to stop at the railroad station restaurant and have lunch or appetizers and beer. It is a brew pub too with onsite craft beer. Very good. I like the light lager best. They also make great burgers and fish. Try the perch sandwich. A real train roars by periodically and blocks the sunlight or watch the miniature train circle the bar. Fun!

Been eating here for decades even when it had another name but same owner.. Consistency of the ownership is what seals the deal here. It's the classic 6AM-3PM Pancake House with a wonderfully broad menu and great mix of waitresses that have been there for decades as well as newbies that fit right in. Today, we were four adults that had HUGE breakfast meals including coffee for $45 including tax. Can't rave enough about the huge portions regardless of the meal--breakfast or lunch. Very, very nice decor remodeled about 8 years ago.Very adequate space. There may be a line upon entering on weekends, but tables and booths turn quickly.

This time we ate in the bar at one of the booths. It was nice and gave you a welcome feeling. The atmosphere was very good, a little bit of Italy, and some cool pictures of earlier times cover the walls. The bar area is very nice a big "u" shaped bar with plenty of places to sit, and catch a game or meet some new friends. They only had two TV's at the bar, so this isn't a sports bar, it's a neighborhood establishment.
The service was very good and friendly. The food was very tasty. I had the perch and it was very tasty. They have a decent selection of white wines, and large generous classes. I got the 9oz size and it was cold and very tasty. But the food is in generous portions, so come hungry!
The owner stopped by our table and welcomed us to his restaurant. So all in all I'd say it was a very nice evening. Pricing was also very reasonable, so a nice night out doesn't have to break the bank.

I finally got my wife to try Italian Ice, so I took her here to Zarlengo's and she wasn't disappointed. Tons of choices on the menu, each one as refreshing as the last. Expect a wait on most nights, but I guarantee you it's worth it.

Has been at that location for decades. The assortment of pastries is very good and the size portions are on the larger size.

We were a party of eight for Christmas Eve early dinner. Started with appetizers of calamari and cheese sticks, both very good. Drinks reasonable and good. They serve a delightful garlic and blue cheese appetizer with garlic bread. Our entrees were crab stuffed shrimp, prime rib, bbq ribs, jumbo fried shrimp, lasagna, ricotta/sausage stuffed shells. No complaints. All dinners very good. Caesar salad, toss salad, minestrone soup, twice bake potato rounded out the sides. Carlo's has a quaint atmosphere and excellent service from Diane. A very reasonable dining experience and very good food. We had a fun time.

First of all the service and staff are great. The food is wonderful and they have a great choice of food items even Dow to the kids menu. They always seat you right away. Place is clean and you don't wait long for your food. I can only speak for the breakfast. Great cozy spot.
