I was expecting an old style, small town Chinese food place. Instead found a modern updated busy restaurant. Very popular with the locals. Varied menu including traditional Chinese food. Reasonable pricing and excellent service. A really good place.

My husband and I both really enjoyed the food. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She was attentive and friendly and professional. The only thing that could be better is their selection of dark beer, but few dark beer choices seems to be standard throughout Canada!

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast on 8-25-14. My husband ordered the bacon and eggs for breakfast with hash browns & toast. I ordered the pancakes. Coffee was really weak. Pancakes were good but the syrup was nasty. Real thin with a weird taste. Had to go find the waitress after we ate to pay the bill, as she was too busy playing on the computer in the other room. Like I said, nothing but average.

during a business trip to Chetwynd I ate at subway several times. The restaurant is located in a convenient location and has enough Seating for a Chetwynd lunch rush. The staff is friendly and the restaurant appeared to be quite clean. I was impressed with the consistency of the food and I'll continue to stop off here when I'm in town.

We tried this restaurant as we read it was popular with locals which is usually a good sign. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The staff was friendly but the food was not very good. I ordered the Bratwurst and Sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was cold and the vegetable were tasteless. My husband's meal of Schnitzel was only luke warm.

I would admit that I love sushi so I was excited when I found out that Chetwynd has a sushi restaurant. I ordered Takeout and within 15 minutes it was ready to go. The rolls were by far my favorite and I look forward to being back in town so I can eat here again. For a small town, Chetwynd is very lucky to have a sushi restaurant and a good one at that! try it out for yourself!

We were working in the area and asked some locals where is the best food in town.. they all said the same thing, the Riverhouse. The wood work, and Rick work on this building was awesome to say the least. It is right on the Main Street and so easy to find. Lots of parking was available. The inside was just as amazing as the outside for craftsmanship with the logs, and rock. The service was even better we had drinks and steaks in just a short time. Prices were a little steep, to be expected this far out in Northern BC.. food was amazing and generous portions. If I am back through this area this is where I will be stopping again not question about it

Greeted upon entry. Quick service. Friendly staff. Cocktail was good. Meal was good with steak cooked to perfection. Dessert was pricey so didn't order. Nice atmosphere, lighting and sound ok. Seating options available, and comfortable.

Decided to have an early breakfast and China Wok opens at 6 am . Restaurant is dated but clean. Breakfast special of $5.99 is offered all day. Coffee is fresh and $2 and refills are free. Hash browns are real potatoes and overall the breakfast was good. My wife had french toast which she enjoyed.
Nice quick breakfast... owners were friendly and attentive. They also offer Chinese buffet for lunch at $11.99 and dinner for $14.99.
