Artisan Bakery, From Scratch Deli Meats; House-smoked Salmon & other meats; Delicious Middle Eastern Dishes (falafel, sabih, hummus, etc..); Craft Beers/Ciders; Spacious/Private Outdoor Seating
Our Daily Bread is the best place in Chatham to go to grab amazing and healthy breakfast and lunches. It is relatively cheap and almost everything on their menu is either gluten free, vegan, or made with all local products. I would recommend making a reservation because it can get pretty busy on the weekends.

Temporarily Closed for Winter Break Until February 2018!<br>We are a Gluten-free bakery specializing in fresh breads, cookies, scones, and cakes. Many of our gluten-free products are available at farmers' markets throughout the area, but you have to come to the cafe for special treats like apple frangipane tarts; carrot cakes; salted caramel & chocolate tarts; flourless chocolate cakes; and fresh fruit, lemon curd tarts. The Cafe serves both Gluten Free and traditional breads, pastries and healthy meals, with special care taken to accommodate gluten intolerant, vegetarian and vegan patrons.
Not being gluten-intolerant, I paid no mind to their many gluten-free offerings, but had a very nicely prepared BLT, which was far better than usual, accompanied by a good cup of coffee and followed by a shared carrot cake serving and some type of chocolate-caramel tart, all carefully prepared and nicely decorated. For a quick lunch and/or outdoor patio dining, they offer lovingly prepared foods at very fair prices. If one is gluten-intolerant, the many choices available should be an added bonus.

We were up in Chatham for the Mac-Haydn production of "Spamalot". We needed a before show dinner, and we chose the Chatham Grill. From the outside is nondescript, the inside is more welcoming but nothing special. It is the service and the food that really makes this place. It has a very nice menu and great choices of beers and drinks. The staff is very helpful and know their menu. The food is prepared for you and comes out of the kitchen hot and fresh. I had the meatloaf wrapped in bacon served with the best gravy and mashed potatoes ever. The vegetables are whatever is fresh and they are well prepared. My wife had the duck which was very well prepared, moist, crisp skin and not dried out in the least, delicious. This is a great place if you are in the area, prices are reasonable and the selection is excellent. You will be sorry you don't live closer to Chatham Grill.

Say you were to envision a lunch place that would supplant all the other choices along the Taconic parkway. You'd start with a picturesque and accessible Victorian house and apply bright, airy, tasteful decor. You'd serve great coffee, bake the ultimate quiches and biscuits (using top-secret recipes), throw in some four-star salads seemingly just picked in the fields that morning, add exciting sandwiches, and voila. People we know are now stopping in on their way north. Other people drive the hour from Albany just for lunch. It's just that good.

Wow! I felt like I was in grass roots middle America. The food was great, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Even though it was dated (which was its charm ) it was clean. I will be a returning customer and convenience! Feet off the Taconic on our way home.

Enjoyable meal and evening listening to a mellow musical duo on a Wednesday night. Nice romantic atmosphere downstairs, cozy and pretty with (holiday) lights.
Enjoyed the warm bread served with butter and olive tapenade. good beer and cider list on the menu. my husband enjoyed his salmon and I enjoyed my portobello mushroom burger, and we loved sharing the Apple blueberry crumble.
Only food disappointment was the green salad, it was literally only lettuce with very light dressing hard to even taste...no other salad vegetables, seriously? Even some onion would have added flavor.
The service downstairs was very slow and we had to ask for a water refill after a server topped off another table and walked right past ours. I personally didn’t mind the slow service as we were having a relaxed meal listening to the music, but I noticed others around us had to ask for their drinks more than once. Only mentioning this, if you are in a hurry to make a move or something, to allow yourself some extra time,
We would go back.

This is a great spot to grab a bite after the theatre performance. It does not open until 5pm SHARP, so know if you go after a performance at the Mac-Haydn. you will end up waiting around for 45 minutes or so. Make reservations as...MoreThank you for sharing this review and dining with us! If you are ever going to MacHayden on a Sunday, we open early, at 4:30pm, every Sunday afternoon.

The property is very charming and there are many different spaces to dine . The porch in good weather, the bar area is cozy, the dining room is historic rustic. We ate at the bar and had very good service from the petulant bartender. The menu is diverse but very heavily slanted to seafood and sushi. We had scallops and pasta, both were good. Certainly a good choice if you are in the area but not quite good enough to be a destination. No connection to other establishments with Yanni in the name.

We went with friends to hear a killer blues band in from Massachusetts, and ended up having a nice evening...we had eaten light dinner so just had beers from their extensive list, appetizers to share and a dessert..very friendly service and beautiful decor.
LOVED the general tso cauliflower and the French fries with dipping sauces...the cheesecake was ok, nothing to rave about.
we would have rated it higher but there was no place to see the band unless you hovered by the bar and this was a great band to watch & dance to, so that was frustrating for us....would definately go again and try their menu which looked creative.

We were shopping near the area when we made a quick decision to grab a pizza and meet a friend. Found this place on the internet and set the GPS to take us there. Went in to a pleasant greeting. Nice menus board helped me order quickly. Pizza was done in 15 minutes. Excellent pizza. We also ordered a salad that was quite large for the money. It was fresh and tasty, too. Stopped on a whim but glad we did, would not hesitate to go again.
