Came here recently with a friend for an early dinner and really enjoyed it. I had one of the day specials (some sort of stuffed shrimp with cheese, if I recall properly), and my guest had the rack of lamb. Both were delicious. The staff was very professional and super friendly. Lastly, the prices were in line with expectations. So overall, a nice experience.

Thanks for visiting our Tripadvisor page. Our hours will change again at the end of August. Sorry, we do not take credit cards - we continue to look at options to accept credit cards, however, as of now we cannot justify the swipe charge and % fees charged by the various companies. Credit/debit card processing also tend to slow the lines. Thank you for for understanding.
I was going to say QA let a bad batch through but ingredients were changed. No long dark chocolate morsels but now smaller chips. Yogurt wasn't as thick and flavor lacking. Hope this isn't a cost cutting measure they stick with.

We've been going to Matunuck Oyster Bar for years and every time we go it gets better! The food is fantastic, you cannot get a bad meal. A definite must if you are in the area! You won't be disappointed.

A quaint location located on Rte 1 provides a step up alternative to typical fast food bakeries. Coffee and most bakery goods we tried were decent. The medium blend Colombian coffee was more acidic than I liked, so will likely try the Quonnie next time. My daughters gluten free banana bread was tasty for GF but with all that sugar and cinnamon it would be. She couldn’t taste much banana flavor. My blueberry muffins, as all muffins are double sized; an ample amount of moist blueberries, a crusty outer shell keeping a “just moist enough” inside. For such a big muffin that’s got to be difficult to achieve a uniform moistness. The blueberry-lemon scone was over cooked and a bit burnt. All of the scones looked similarly charred so I thought it might just be the style. Well after a few bites the only conclusion we could draw was it was an over cooked batch. We tossed it out. $4 out the window. Place is a bit pricey. At least one of the prices charged on receipt was high than label. A bit over $17.50 for three baked goods and a coffee with 15% tip. They don’t make egg sandwiches.

A must visit if in the area..unusual flavors, tasting encouraged. Except it is so small and holds up the line, which snakes out the door. Staff is very friendly but they need more help! Guess that's why they close at 9 in the peak season...it's not dark until 8:30 and we eat late when on vacation. Not sure what they do with all those people in line at 9? Lots of outdoor benches and picnic tables to sit at. Definitely worth the trip!

We were looking for a spot to get good food and watch the game on tv and found Rathskeller in Charlestown. Located slightly in a secluded location, there was good amount of people when we went there.
They have an outdoor patio and large amount of indoor seating. Wide variety of different types of people though mostly casual ambiance.
Our bartender was very good, service was excellent and drinks were great as above. Got the mudslide which was quite good.
Food wasn't that impressive. Got the garlic parm wings which were just wings with a ton of parm thrown on top. Also got the calamari which was soft and good although slightly on the oily side.
Overall good experience. Good spot in the area, esp if you wanted to watch a game and get some drinks.

Awesome Sunday morning breakfast. Eggs Quesadilla is the best. The breakfast burrito is huge. Coffee is even good. Sitting on the deck on a sunny morning with waves rolling under is an experience. 10 AM Bloody Mary to start the day. Just don't sit near the bathroom. ;-p
