Fantastic food. Great beer & wine. Super friendly & helpful staff. Lovely environment for dining out.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Chantilly, look no further. I chose fillet steak and am still salivating! I had profiteroles with Chantilly cream for my dessert: delicious!

Our hotel recommended La Renardier for our group of 7 people. The food and service were fantastic. Truly a gourmet restaurant with excellent service . The attention to detail with each course was fantastic. They had a wonderful prix fix choice menu in addition to ala carte. Each dish was prepared with perfection and looked beautiful. The duck breast with a sweet sauce was perfect. The chess trolley was the best we have ever experienced. Deserts were of his quality. One of the few restaurants that had magnums of wine which was great for our group. If one is looking for gourmet meal experience at a reasonable price this is a good place to dine. Limited English spoken,

We already booked a table in October last year and spent a perfect Valentines' evening. The service was amazingly friendly, flexible, professional and fast and the food was very innovative and freshly house made. A 5 course menu for 60€ with this quality is actually quite cheap but the cherry on the cake was the Valentine tombola. Every guest had to chose a number and my wife won a bottle of champagne and a rose. We will certainly come back to this lovely region and especially to this little restaurant.

We were staying just off the A1 in St Witz and were looking for somewhere to eat. We checked trip advisor testaurant recmemdations for Chantilly as we knew we were not too far away and found this Italian restaurant.
We turned up without Reservations on a Saturday evening. We were quickly seated outside near the Terrace. The place was a great looking trendy restaurant The staff were all very friendly and helpful in assistimg us to choose our meals. The food itself was delicious and tasty and well presented. My husband had the dessert cafe gourmand. He was in foodie heaven All his favourite desserts on one plate plus an espresso.
There was s nice ambience in the restaurant. We really enjoyed ourselves here
Was definitely worth the 30 minute drive from St Witz. Would recommend for a taste of Italian in France

While staying with friends Apremont, we decided to splurge. This is a warm, cozy inn type restaurant. The owner/chef's wife was friendly as were the staff. Started with Champagne and foie gras. I had the fresh and my husband, the mi cuit. Second course we went with fish, turbot for me and monkfish for hubby. we both finished with a splashy desert. Chocolate ball filled with raspberry whipped creme. then the waiter arrived with a copper pot of melted chocolate which he poured over the shell (lavishly) and caused the whole thing to collapse into a puddle of deliciousness. I had to hold the old man back from licking his plate. I would go back on a regular basis if I lived here.

This is a typical French country inn-type of restaurant; beautiful bar, local patrons, just the perfect memory of our trip to France. Menu on the chalkboard brought to the table..traditional French and delicious. Some English spoken, but very little.
Superb quality food and service and ambiance!
The" formule" at 17euros= starter and main is unbeatable = inbattable!!
Otherwise the Carte is extensive and full of terroir specialties and interesting
wines. An absolute must! My wine merchant friend Jean-Paul and I have this
marvelous restaurant as our absolute favourite in Chantilly.
From the welcoming of the owner himself, Monsieur Bernard to the final coffee:
just a lovely genuine culinary and social experience.
Would I live locally, I would go at least every week!

We bypassed this place a few times as it did not really appeal initially. However as everything else was booked out we took the plunge - and had our best Italian meal in a very long while.
Pizza was very good as was the pasta. Little touches such as the tomato and tabasco sorbet on the salad make this place revisiting.

A group of eight of us had dinner here. With no particularly great expectations we were blown away vast at large round table in conservatory: apparently recently redecorated, it was delightfully quirky, with fun statues on tables. We had the Gourmand menu - five courses of delicious food, attractively served. House cocktails and some great vino (Blanc de Sancerre and a fine Bordeaux) all added to the mix. Service was not totally seamless but nonetheless charming. Would make a detour to return.

we had a perfectly good meal here but it was the least exciting of our whole week in Normandy. As the weather was nice we preferred the Terrace but they allowed smoking (and it was shared with the bar), which really didn't seem appropriate since it is an internal courtyard, not really "outdoors". Would not go again.
