Was referred to this little diner for breakfast. We were NOT disapointed! Bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy, coffee. All under $7.00. Great staff and very fast. Highly recommend.

Was traveling thru Davenport and thought I would stop and have a burger. Heard it had been remodeled and new management. Found a limited amount of burgers and not what it was before at all. No onion stacks and the service we had was not at all good. I hope this young lady finds her passion in life because it definitely is not being a great waitress. Many things have been added to the menu but I will not be testing them in the future due to this being the last time I will visit. My idea is to drive on to Chandler and visit Sonic.

I don't know where to start! Brisket outstanding, no wait....burnt ends outstanding....no wait...baked beans.....no wait, Mac and cheese... well just try everything, you will not be disappointed. Friendly service. Easy to get to on my favorite highway, Route 66!

Tried Giorgio's. The man is from Albania and the wife is from Italy. Unfortuanately I was having trouble understanding the man and failed to asked for a name. His wife smiled but did not talk but was the one doing the cooking. They were both very kind and pleasant. I liked the supreme pizza a lot. So did my wife. Only issue was it was a bit moist. The supreme cannelloni was just as tasty and fresh but we are no fans of ricotta cheese. Should have gone with the stromboli. I had the Greek salad they prepared. It was simple but good. The wife went with the salad bar which she enjoyed. A simple but clean and organized decor. It was like stepping away from the chains into a new world. Will go back.

A group of 7 discerning motorcycle riders from Stillwater, OK, all retired, stopped at the Early Bird for a mid morning breakfast. The building is a refurbished Route 66 filling station. We were warmly welcomed by Gloria and seated promptly. Menu's and drinks were promptly provided. Being a small town family style operation staff was limited. In spite of the limitation, orders were taken, food prepared and delivered hot and ready to eat. Prices are on par with most every small town cafe on our roster of cafes to visit. Everyone commented on the food and to a man, rated the Early Bird among the top cafes in our impromptu rating system. We will be sure to return.

I came I here after hearing it was good. It's in a converted gas station and I left full, but the food was just ordinary. Nothing special.

Place has received a facelift since I was there last. It looks clean and brighter. With that...the waitress was too busy cleaning tables to actually "wait" on our table. She was nice enough when she did come around. The guy at the register was not very friendly. So with that...not being the same ol dan's is both good and bad. I used to love the warm, welcoming atmosphere but it was certainly lacking that and what a shame that is!

Located at Econo Lodge Chandler Exit 166 on the Turner Turnpike & Highway 18
We went here for dinner while staying at the hotel. The food was your typical diner food, the meals were tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The meal size was good and the price was reasonable. On a warm day it is best to sit upstairs as the lower area didn't appear to have air conditioning.
Overall, not a bad spot to stop for a meal.

The main reason I haven't been back to this restaurant, although they are the sweetest people and are so kind when they serve is that , plain and simple, their food is awful. No flavor at all and it is very greasy.

Not the best place I've eaten but far from the worse. Service was real slow, close to a half hour to get served. Portions could be a little larger though
