The open Terrace and balcony restaurant provides fresh and quality meals from around the globe and the bar serves unique cocktails and snacks.
We had two pad thai dishes -- one with fish and one just with veggies. Both were excellent! Fresh tasting and well spiced. In addition, we ordered two bottles of water, and they brought out chilled glasses for us! (A first ever here in Laos.) The service was quick and attentive, and the setting was well-lite and inviting. The prices were right, as well. Nothing to complain about. Totally satisfying.

Restaurant & Guesthouse
We stopped for a drink here after visiting Vatphou and later came back for diner from our local hotel. Food is reasonable by Western standards -priced forthe location and lack of serious competition. The fresh juices we had were excellent and the dinner dishes fine - nothing special but perfectly acceptable

Traditional recipes made with fresh ingredients from the area. Experience the flavors of Champasak.
The food here was good with prices of entrees in the $25,000 to $30,000 Kip range. (3 to $3.50 US) You can choose between sitting outside downstairs in a pleasant grassy patio or upstairs in a more informal setting. The proprietor speaks perfect English, having attended the University of Washington and worked in tech in Seattle and Denver. He is a useful source of information about Laos in addition to being a pleasant host. I recommend in particular the Chayote (squash)

We stopped by here on a whim as we were biking back from Vat Phou (one reason why traveling by bike is so great), and we were happy we did.
This place was delicious. And cheap. And delicious.
We were a bit annoyed that the only Champasak restaurants listed on TripAdvisor were the expensive restaurants that served Western-style food. That's not how we like to travel. For 20,000 kip ($2.50) we each had an wonderful and Laos lunch. My wife had noodle soup and I have sautéed chicken with basil. Both were perfect.
The real kicker is that this delightful and cheap meal was served to us in a beautiful, private wooden booth overlooking the Mekong. It was a beautiful atmosphere, and the couple who own/run this place were kind and courteous.
Wait until you go home to eat your french fries and pizza. Come here when you're in Champasak.
