We stopped here because it was recommended by our hotel and Trip Advisor reviews. It was very good food, but nothing to get excited about. i.e. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Don't get me wrong...it was good...just not great. Our service was lacking a bit. Our server seemed preoccupied with dinner prep (making salads, etc). I had to flag her down several times for drink refills etc. She was friendly and took care of what we asked, I just didn't like having to get her attention all the time vs. her stopping by to ask how things were going. The morning we left town we stopped again specifically for their cinnamon rolls as we heard they were outstanding. One hour after opening they were out of rolls. That's unacceptable. They've been in business long enough not to run out of a popular item. That was a huge disappointment for my wife. We didn't stay.

Highly recommend breakfast. Nice local atmosphere. Quick service and nicely prepared basic breakfasts.

Confused service staff couldn’t decide which table to seat our party of four. We waited for five minutes, looking at an empty dining room while they ignored us and figured it out. Finally seated, We ordered enchiladas. They got it completely wrong. The waitress told us the kitchen didn’t give her what we ordered and what she wrote down; telling us it was the kitchens fault, not her fault. We didn’t care whose “fault” it was, we just wanted what we ordered. She finally took it back. When she finally brought our food it was terrible: cold cheese enchiladas, cold chicken enchiladas (made with ground canned chicken)
This was truly the worst restaurant meal I’ve had in years.

Small little restaurant along the highway, north of the junction. We were the only group there while we were eating. There's a nice little wood stove keeping the place warm. The food isn't fancy or gourmet, but it's filling. Our chips were chewy and stale and I don't think the oil was hot enough when they fried the tortilla for my taco salad because it was not as crispy as expected. Otherwise, it's inexpensive.

This restaurant is in a small, charming, old hotel dining room. The staff was superb in recommendations, friendliness, and service. I ate there at lunch. I ordered the tacos. They were made in the large flour griddle baked variety of tortilla with good filling and fresh toppings. Salsas were good, too. With the meal came 2 large sopapillas with honey. Very good. One of the best Southwestern meals on my trip to New Mexico.

Drove into charming Chama on the way to Durango. This subway sits back off the highway in a free standing building and has a good amount of parking, tables and seating. The food was good, the place was clean, the restrooms were clean and the sandwich shop seemed busy. Next time you find yourself in Chama give the Subway a try.

Cliffview has one of the better steaks I have had recently. The restaurant is located at the base of Brazos Cliffs in an old log structure. Lots of charm. The food was excellent including the Razelberry pie with a huge helping of ice cream. I will be back!!!
The restaurant is only open Thursday through Saturday evenings and just in the summer

This hole-in-the-wall place has AMAZING green chili burgers!
Best burger in town. Old fashioned, mouth watering. Also green chili and beans if you like really hot.
