The southwestern castle city of Cesky Krumlov is one of the Czech Republic’s finest medieval sites. Its Old Town is a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site, a maze of twisting alleys built around the extensive Cesky Krumlov castle. Saunter through crooked, cobblestone streets on foot and soak up the atmosphere of this impeccably preserved medieval gem. The gushing Vltava, popular with rafting enthusiasts, darts through the town.

Nice and small place, the owner is really friendly and helpful, the dishes are nice, well prepared, big portions, and really not so expensive, we had 2 soups, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, wine and vodka for less than 40€, I would really recommend it! Dogs are also allowed. We had a really nice evening

The restaurant was quite small but it was comfortable. We ordered the traditional Bohemian feast with rabbit meat and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it tasted (first time having rabbit). The viewing deck was quite small and better suited for couples but the view itself was spectacular. Overhanging on the river and appreciating the amazing rivers of Cesky Krumlov.

We ate here for dinner because it was conveniently attached to our hotel, and it was raining. Service was okay and food was average. The restaurant is in a building constructed in the 1500's, so the atmosphere was interesting, with very thick walls and alcoves built in.

What a great place! We dined here in January as a family of 4 (2x adults, 2x teenagers) and had an amazing time. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but inside it is a real treasure. The atmosphere was great and you could see (and sit next to) the roaring fire which they cooked the food on. Staff were all really nice and the food was amazing.
We reserved a table which was good because the place gets quite full. If you are looking for a place that is not very expensive, has great ambience, and delicious, traditional Czech food that leaves you very full, then this is the place to go!

We wanted authentic Czech cuisine. Locals recommended SVCJK as true Czech. The menu is in both Czech and English and the staff quite terrific. There were two servers working the busy three room restaurant providing fabulous attention and service. Our waitress was spot on with her suggested local dining menu. Our exotic entrees, Deserts, and Czech beer were as nice as her service. The re purposed home has a homey tavern atmosphere. A Very Good time.

Stunning Terrace with old town and castle overwiev, international cuisine - steaks, home-made pasta, salads, ribs, wings, the Finest Czech and European wines. Come and try!
We tried to come here on the new year’s eve without making a reservation, but unfortunately the place is all booked out. So we came back for lunch on the following day also without making reservation, and were fortunate enough to get a table. The place was still busy on New Year’s day.
Service was very good. The waiter and waitresses are friendly, polite, patient and efficient.
We ordered pork ribs (the portion was huge) and the spaghetti with ham and pesto sauce. The food was good. The ribs were juicy.
Price is inexpensive and the ambience is casual.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work.

Busy time trying to get a good restaurant in Cesky Krumlov due to a conference booking out a lot of places .This appeared to be good on the service but although staff were courteous and reasonably attentive food was forgettable Italian fare ( our group tried lasagna, penne and pizzas and apart from their own pizza Nonna Gina very average taste and presentation ) .
Seated upstairs and quite hot and stuffy and when our window wouldn't open waiter shrugged and said "broken".
We had to go downstairs to select our wine by pointing to the bottle ( as there was no wine list !) .We didn't recognise the particular small selection they had but took a vague recommendation from our waitress and when we requested a further bottle for out group were told no more and we would have to go down stairs to select again!

We had only about an hour of free time in the town after guided tour and were looking for traditional fried cheese and sausages cooked in beer. Found this place after checking several other restaurants in the town. It had what we were looking for, and prices were reasonable since it is located off the main tourist routes. It wasn't even half full, but looked nice and neat. Service was quick and friendly.

Lovely Tea House in charming quiet monastery garden. Come to enjoy great cup of tea, wide selection of shishas and vegetarian dishes prepared with utmost care. In sommer with amazing refreshing cold drinks&coctails out on the Terrace overlooking the old monastery garden. Non-smoking room, children friendly. Up a side alley across Krumlov castle main entrance gate.
It is a relaxing and comfortable tea house in CK. I suggest you to come after visiting the tower. There were many types of tea and I chose Yogi tea finally as I thought it was relative special for me as a Chinese. It indeed tasted good . I stayed in the tea house for hours for resting.

• contemporary Czech cuisine • fresh seafood dishes • Seating for 84 people • outdoor Terrace • located in the historic residence of Jakub Krcin of Jelcany • original wall paintings
We visited this restaurant during the heat wave in August. We both had a beer and a large bottle of sparkling water. Then pasta carbonara and a steak which was really tender and juicy with pepper sauce. The total cost was very reasonable. Service was excellent, neither hurried or slow at being served. The evening was unusually warm so we sat outdoors on a beautiful medieval street. I would recommend the restaurant for food, service and ambiance.
