Cerveteri [tʃerˈvɛːteri] is a town and comune of northern Lazio in the region of the Metropolitan City of Rome. Known by the ancient Romans as Caere, and previously by the Etruscans as Caisra or Cisra, and as Agylla (or Άγυλλα) by the Greeks, its modern name derives from Caere Vetus used in the 13th c. to distinguish it from Caere Novum (the current town).

I went to this restaurant based on the Trip Advisor review while traveling through the area. The place is new and apparently so is the staff- who were not current on the plates they were offering and not very attentive. They didn't have several local wines from their menu and the food was ok, but nothing to write home about. We had a nice lunch but I won't return.

Due sale, una adibita a ristorante, un'altra per le cerimonie, due cucine, termocamino e ampio parcheggio per i nostri ospiti. Ampia gamma di primi e secondi piatti rigorosamente con prodotti locali. Possibilita di pernottamento. Orari ristorante: 13:00/15:00 e 20:00/23:00. Chiuso il giovedì in autunno, inverno e primavera.
I came here twice in January with my partner as we were staying on site. We had 2 wonderful dinners, the food was lovely, well cooked, well presented and all sourced locally, as it's normal with Agriturismos. I would recommend the Chef's choice for appetizers, which changes daily, they will cook little samples of food for you to taste, we were amazed at the range, quality and quantity, the waiter just kept them coming. It was very similar to a taster menu you'd have in a city restaurant. Mains were also delicious. They were not serving pizzas at the time our visit, as the oven was getting an overhaul. The breads are also all baked on site, you can see the ovens on your way in. Recommended.

Restaurant set in a most picturesque region near Cerveteri, Sasso. The setting is idyllic. The food delicious. Their speciality are the meats, especially the pork 'affettati' which are delicious. The 'tagliata' of beef is extremely tender and of a particular taste, as are the sausages. The service is impeccable; wine list vast. The peaceful setting in this north part of Rome gives one perfect relaxation. There is direct connection with the centre of Rome by bus.

The B&B where we were staying recommended this restaurant to us. The views from the Terrace are amazing, especially at sunset. The prices on the menu were surprisingly low. We all ate like kings. My son had the gnocchi al castrato, my daughter had togliolini al limone, my father had spaghetti al ragù and I had strozzapreti all'arrabiata. We split one serving of grigliata mista just so we could taste. The house wine (red) was good, very light. The complimentary cookies were delicious! The only drawback I can think of was the bread which lacked salt but I believe that's the way they make in in this area. All together a great "last supper" to our Italian vacation!

The place is a "hole in the wall "type of place which at first sight does not even look like a place where to eat. But once inside the intense fish smell coming from the kitchen tells a different story. Generous portions, good taste and very honest prices. Decor and design are very essential with paper table cloth, coffee in plastic cups and vinegar in one way packages. But the service is fast, efficient and friendly and 23 Euro for a three course meal including wine, water and coffee are unbeatable. Payment cash only, no cards at all (credit or debit).
Your clothes will smell intensely of fish, so make sure you do not have romantic engagements later ;-)!

Osteria is a vintage place. Is a perfect place for try the real Italian food experience. We have all the old recipe of our grandmother and we try to make the dish in the real traditional way. The fresh ingredient and the quality of the meat and the fish make the different. Enjoy the Osteria experience.
Visiting with my cousin for the day and asked to have lunch where there was plenty of fish. She asked friends and was given the name of this restaurant. We had an array of appetizers called pastelli made with a delicate batter and then baked....MoreHi Angela B, thank you for your kind review! We are please everything went right on your dinner, so we look forward to having you again here! A big hug by the whole staff of the Marby's!

Complice l'aria frizzante che stimola l'appetito e la splendida vista sul Borgo di Ceri che si gode dalle ampie finestre, questo ristorante immerso nella campagna romana si presta a pranzi domenicali in compagnia. Location semplice e accogliente, cucina casereccia, servizio affabile e cortese, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

This is a small, local place on a side street in the old town of Cerveteri. It can get very busy so Reservations are recommended, particularly if you wish to dine outside. The food that I had was wonderful, the service friendly, and the entire evening - a delight.
