I came late Friday evening. Not many customers dine in that time but the restaurant staff gave warm welcome to our group. The environment is cozy and relaxing. There are several separated dining rooms suitable for lunch/dinner meeting or small party. Taste of the food is average.

When Festival Teluk Palu 2014 was held, I invited by the Head of Tourism Department of Central Sulawesi Province to do a coverage about the event. Right after I am landed on Palu, I was picked up by the Tourism Department's staffs and they brought me to this restaurant to get some bite to eat. The meals provided here was looks and tastes good. One thing that make this restaurant different is they had Kaili's (one of the local tribes in Palu) menu.

If you are meat-eater and happens to be in Palu, you definitely have to visit this place. The kaledo (kaki lembu donggala) beef bone soup is so delicious with spices, the meat so tender. You can request the soup with or without bones. Arrive early evening before it gets packed.

I stopped in this place for lunch. Indonesian food is served there, with fresh fish and lots of rice. Service is non existent there. Tables were not cleaned, covered with used plates, glasses, napkins. We had to move the dirty dishes from one table onto another to free space for our lunch.

I took dinner with my friends here. The food are delicious enough and quickly ready. But the strength of this place is the atmosphere was very cozy and good for talking with friends. There were indoor table with AC and outdoor table.

me and my cousin was longing for crab when we traveled in Palu! we wonder how difficult it could be, and we cant find it anywhere! that was quiet night enough 10.00 PM, and we decide to jump to these resto. we ordered Rica Fish (grilled), its delicious! Beansprout and daun kelor. and of course we ordered crab! before i ordered, i asked the waitress, how many crab that we will get? and she said 2 crab! so thats enough for 5 of us. but when it served on our table, the crab is just half of big crab and a quarter of small crab. I asked the same waitress why its just 2, and she said that is the big crab. yes thats just half of big crab. make sure that they dont cheat on you!

Uta Dada is a specialty dish of Palu, Central Sulawesi. It's made of rice cooked in a pouch made form weaving coconut leaves. It's usually eaten with a spicy, herbal (curry & others), chicken broth. This restaurant was situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Palu and the bay - a very scenic eating place. The place itself is very modest and simple, but don't let this fools you. The restaurant was featured in the President magazine.
I tried the Uta Dada and also some grilled chicken. They were so yummy I went for a second helping.
