Home style Mexican cooking. Not like a fast food chain. Excellent service. The food is cooked when ordered and served piping hot. Generous servings and good priced as well as good quality food. Will definitely continue to return.

You are paying for the atmosphere here, and it is very pleasant. You can order the usual coffees and teas, but you won't get lunch or much else to eat besides baked goods and some packaged yogurt-granola. My breakfast roll was tasty and filling but not, alas, fresh-baked. If you are frazzled after a few hours on the freeway, or if you want to use your laptop, stop in here instead of a chain coffee shop and relax a little bit. It won't hurt ya! Take the Hasley Canyon exit from I-5, not the ones farther north where all the big rigs turn in.

Like a few other reviews, there's nothing special I can say about this particular location. Parking is usually adequate, servers are friendly. This is not an upscale area by any measure so don't have high expectations of well-dressed L.A. celebrities coming in for their triple-whatever complicated latte'.
But if you need a Starbucks fix, it's freeway convenient.

Coming back from day trip to Hollywood and my Boo was wanting Mexican so we pulled off and found this place. Was hoping for more authentic Mexican food but this is more Americanized Mexican but it was very good food. Service was very good and attentive, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Camping nearby so we went to this diner. Nothing to look at outside, but it's what's inside that counts. Food and service was excellent. Prices were fine. We loved the bowl of soup that came with the meal. Most of the other patrons were truckers. That alone told me the place would be great.

Went into the restaurant based on rating. Service was slow - sat for over 10 minutes before someone came over and they took orders from next door who came later than us. Ordered both appetiser and entree with entrees served 10 minutes before appetiser.
The food was average. Looking at the menu nearly everything is the same just with different protein and sauces. The dumplings we ordered for appetiser had very thick pastries and little filling. Noodle soups were okay, however the worst part was I found a piece of paper in my soup after more than half way through. It was pretty gross. I told the waitress and she brushed it off by "I'll tell the kitchen". We got sent the full bill without getting any explanation or apology. I refused to pay for the soup, and the waitress threw a bit of an attitude. Very disappointing as it was the Chinese New Year and we were hoping to have some authentic Chinese to celebrate. Will not come back again.

This was my first time experiencing eating from this chain. It's still fast food of course but I thought the variety, value and taste of the food was great. Be great if these were in the UK.

We have been traveling back and forth between Sacramento and Palm Springs for years. Fortunately we found Tommie's. When going south we stop for lunch. Going north we wait to have breakfast.
Breakfast: You will never walk away hungry. Have the loaded hashbrowns with onions. Big enough to share.
Lunch: You can still have breakfast or a choice of many sandwiches or burgers. If you are looking for a salad you may want to keep driving. On our last visit (lunch) we started with tortilla soup. I asked Maria for a couple of taco chips for my soup. She came back with a plate of fresh made chips. Hot! I had a hamburger. (Big & tasty) My son had the spicy patty melt. Said it was the best he ever had. Add great service to good food. You can't go wrong.

Not far off the 5 Freeway, this place unfairly falls victim to the overdevelopment of commercial lease space in SCV. GIVE THEM A TRY. They were very nice, friendly chefs, good hostess. They are to the right of the newer Starbucks in this center.
I found the Sushi to be very good, the Sake' was very good and fairly priced, and the service was very good. The place has a good typical sushi bar vibe to it, nothing fancy, just a good place to grab some sushi.
