I ran a Google search to find a place to eat during a ride and the Waiting Room was rated high on the list in the area.
I've been to the Waiting Room once before and didn't realize it until getting there. I remember vaguely that I liked the place but nothing stood out about my first visit. I can tell you that I will remember how good the wings were and also the fried fillet I ordered.
The place was empty at first and that had me a little worried but the staff was welcoming and took care of us right away. After some time a large group entered, they seemed to be on a bar crawl so they started to pack the place up. The staff didn't seem overwhelmed and they didn't forget or ignore our table.
Good experience and I do see myself going back again.

Went there today for lunch. My wife had the same dish as last week, our first time there. Chicken Fajitas with corn tortillas, she informed them she is a Celiac as well last week. Well the waiter even wrote on the slip corn tortillas and as she was told they were fine. After eating one she questioned the Waiter who said your right, sorry. I went and spoke to the manager who was very much a punk who says yeah my fault we don't really have much if any Gluten free. Then another manager comes to the table and tells my wife the chicken is not good either. Wait a minute what changed from last week? Bottom line real screwed up unprofessional management. Oh paid the whole bill. Kick myself because I should of made a point because my suffers because a punk did not care. Real class act.

Very nice atmosphere and very nice service! Food was good we have the price fixed menu for 20 bucks/ person and it was a good value. I most likely should have looked at the regular menu as well but was given the price fixed menu and went with it. We both went home full and thought the food was decent to good.

I grew up near the original Ralph’s ice. You rode your bike and went with friends. Every flavor ice was just as delicious as the next. Then they made quarts to go. Then they expanded. I say come to Naples Florida...you could have a thriving business, hands down!

This place is an old family run bar/resturaunt the pizza is great, and they have the best mussels in red sauce (gravy) around. Go there and you will be treated like family

Another of my random diner adventures led to the Bus Stop Diner. Clean and tidy, and with very polite and attentive service, I enjoyed my visit. I had one of my standard diner orders, the Reuben, and had no problems substituting a small salad for the fries. Serving size was good, but the meat merely average -- not bad, but not anything to write home about either.

This is a great take out restaurant. The pizza and mussels are a Sunday night must. All the sandwiches are great, especially the chicken parmigiano sandwich. Prices are reasonable, but quite often the wait gets quite long, which in itself tells how good the food is.

I can remember helping Tommy push his cycle-cart (when the motor died) from Thornal Street to the triangle park across from its present location. Haven't been there in years, but I can assure anyone, the same greatnest is there since the son took over,Its good to keep it in the family. Great people & great food. God Bless the Lanes

After a long day at the beach or in the mountains, a return to Carteret has to include Burger Express. The chicken is out of this world. The cheese fries are a must. If you choose to dine in the upstairs dining area is both cozy and relaxing. A true Jersey meal is a pork roll sandwich with fries. Besides my usual favorites all the menu items also live up to the reputation.
