They have really good quality ice cream here. Lots of flavors to choose from. The sundaes are fantastic. Friendly staff. Outside tables with games like checkers to keep kids busy. Also there is an old trolley to sit or play in. Fun place with good food

Clary's Country Corner Restaurant is a family run business offering breakfast and lunch daily from 7 am-2 pm.
Breakfast of champions! So many Deep South choices that are too good to taste but not good for you! Sausage gravy, chicken fried steaks and of course all the regular breakfast menu items that are just as good. Go out of your way and try it!

Close to the Avalon Free Library where I was performing regularly during the summer with the Bay-Atlantic Symphony. Coffee were much better than Wawa's or Starbucks. The people working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating was a plus. Service was quick and just a great place to get a cup of coffee!

Being a lover of homemade cupcakes these hit the spot! I typically never purchase cupcakes because the icing is always too sweet and the cupcakes dry until I passed by this gem and stopped in. AMAZING! At this point I've tried almost every variety and each one is better than the one I had before. Death by chocolate, yes please, snickers absolutely, snickerdoodle, why not! P.S. They also freeze good.

We believe that quality fresh products are to be prepared in a simple and unique way, then served with pride and friendly service resulting in customer satisfaction. Our philosophy is very simple - genuine food and fair price. We are often imitated, but never duplicated.
We decided to try Nino’s again since it has been years!
Drove early from Cape May City and arrived about 5pm.
When we walked in there was a woman adding up receipts in the front. She didn’t say a word and we stood there for 7 minutes and no one came out to the hostess station. Finally she says, someone should be right out! Then we waited another few minutes. I could see my husband getting irritated so i kept talking ( about anything & everything) to him to keep him calm!
Finally an older heavyset woman comes out and with no hello or welcome she says take that table there and she points! Throws the menus over to the table and walks away! The place was empty only 2 tables seated. We looked at the menu and selected but no waitress. No bread, no water! Took maybe 15 min! We should have just left!
Anyway Customer Service does not exist here. Service is horrible. Once the server came she was pleasant but with an empty restaurant why the long waits??
Food was a large portion and ok but the place needs a Real Hostess! A front that can welcome and take care of customers! — without a nasty attitude!
Place could also use an update but most important !! A really good Cleaning!

I have lived in this area for only 2 years...and I dine out frequently. I love coming to this restaurant because the food is consistently good, the wait staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I am used to fabulous restaurants in the North Jersey/New York area and struggle a bit to find goid restaurants in this area but they always come through. My family has a few "tough" customers but they thoroughly enjoy Murasaki

Always able to get a great breakfast with a variety of choices. Service is always top notch and the coffee refills just keep on coming. Great lunch and dinner options. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Right on Rt 9 with plenty of parking. Skip McDs and go to the diner.

We visited outside crab season, April, and focused on the fish, of which the halibut was locally caught and never frozen. A nice example of a family owned, independent restaurant with no pretensions and lots of understandable pride in the quality of the food. Simple and charming picnic table sitting not suffering from a marketing consultant's touch, I only wish they hadn't dusted my halibut with seasoning that it didn't need.

Was staying in Cape May, but drove up here for dinner. Glad I did, well worth the drive. Local tavern atmosphere. Variety of entrees, sandwiches, salads, etc as well as specials. Limited craft beer, but a couple of beer specials. Friendly service. Cream if asparagus and crab soup was excellent - but could have had a cup instead of a bowl as dinner portion was big. Food took a while to be served, but it was very busy. I ordered the blackened salmon, which came with a choice of potato or pasta and mixed vegetables. Dinner was excellent, well worth the drive.

As we were having fun exploring the extensions of the bike path in Cape May, we happen to see Matthew's (otherwise, driving by, we would never have stopped in). Everything looked fresh and there was no smell and the style of eating seemed interesting. One creates "fish bowls" (about $19) picking 5-6 items from a grain or bean bottom though veggies, type of fish and toppings. Friendly service and delicious food. We will be back for sure. What a find! Can't believe no one told us about this before! Small and surprisingly not packed.
