Since 1984, Dairy Palace has been a casual, family-friendly, family-owned restaurant in Canton, Texas, home of the world-famous First Monday Trade Days. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and over 32 flavors of Blue Bell ice cream all day long. Come visit us before work, on a road trip, after the game, or for a midnight snack!
Dairy Palace is located in a perfect location for shoppers going to First Monday in Canton. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a walk-up counter and fast service. Their menu is varied and one can get just about any fast food at a reasonable price. My most recent stop was for a late breakfast and the Sausage Grilled Cheese, Breakfast Burritos and Tater Tots were all served hot, delicious and in nice portions. Nothing fancy here - just good food, free drink refills, and friendly service.

Had an Ultimate Cheeseburger today. Very good burger with cheddar and Swiss, mushrooms, grilled onions, and jalapeños. Great bean bar. Pintos were delicious. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Conveniently located at the corner of "First Monday" and yumsville in Canton, Texas, these donuts are the best! Hot, fresh and sweet - man-oh-man - that's a great place for donuts! Judging from the collection of locals and travelers waiting...you will not be disappointed. And...you won't have to wait long as they are very attentive.
The staff was very helpful even though they were very busy. They have a great selection of donuts and kolaches and with the traffic - they are hot and fresh. No better way to charge your system for a heavy shopping experience at "First Monday" than with a sweet, cream-filled donut from The Donut Corner.

Compared to another review, it's pointless to complain that one restaurant of a chain does not do the same specials and judge them harshly based on that, because that's just the way the system works--and they tell us 'at participating restaurants.' But for my stop through to the Canton Dairy Queen, I found a Country Basket Chicken Strip combo for $4.99 that was delivered to my window hot, fresh and fast, with courteous service. Happy tummy, happy wallet, happy customer.

If you love Southern style cooking this is the place for you. All the classics and nice dessert selection. I've seen burger reviews at Buttermilk's but I recommend the chicken with dipping gravy. Best side selection would be the fried green beans. Give them a try.

Arrived on Wednesday night for First Monday and walked right in to Val's. Service is excellent, timely and always filling glasses. Food is really good. The spaghetti is great, really large serving. Salad was superb with Italian dressing. others in party had spinach ravioli, did not have to clean the plate. Atmosphere is nothing special, yet in this small town, is charming.
Located across from the courthouse on the square, easy to locate. Enjoy!

The Bunker is located in the Van Zandt Country Club. We have a menu with all fresh food items. From the juicy burgers and hand battered chicken strips to the fresh tossed salads and scrumptious homemade desserts; there's sure to be something everyone will love! The Bunker is open to the public so EVERYONE is WELCOME! You only have to get a temporary or full membership if you'd like to buy alcohol. We hope to see you soon!
Clean facilities and a helpful staff help to make this an acceptable dining establishment. They were out of steaks so we had to make an alternate selection. Chose the mahi-mahi blackened. It had good flavor and was cooked to my satisfaction. Others had the burger and noted it was tasty. A number of desserts to choose from. The service was great and provided by Megan. A great choice for a small town.

I stopped here for a quick meal after some official business in Canton, as the "Almost World Famous" slogan on the sign caught my eye (it reminded me a bit of Hooters' "Soon To Be Relatively World Famous" blurb). Bacon, eggs, and home fries hit the spot, and Felicia was a warm-hearted table server.

We met a customer here, and enjoyed lunch. I had the lunch special and it was pretty good. The chips were fresh. Decent salsa, not spicy at all.

Room to have a business type dinner, family dinner, or just dining alone. The service is excellent. The restaurant is clean and has a real down home feel to it.
