Galas, regattas, the Film Festival and an outrageously attractive and affluent set characterize Cannes. Vast yachts obscure the view and the town lives up to its motto, "Life is a festival." People-watching is the activity that brings most visitors to Cannes, and hotel-lined La Croisette provides a fine promenade. First popularized by Coco Chanel, Cannes beaches are a huge draw. Get expensive seaside food and drinks service on hotel sand or opt for the free public beaches, Plages du Midi and de la Boca.

Traditional restaurant with single menu all included! And yes! Wine also (half a bottle of wine per person) A home made terrine appetizer with a seasonal salad and sausages followed by an appetizer and shot of vodka! and main course to choose between a fish and 4 or 5 meat and finally dessert choices. without forgetting a musical performance every night!
If you come to Cannes you simply MUST eat here. There are two set menus to choose from; we went for the €49 fixed menu which includes a bottle of wine between two. The food is excellent, really excellent. And the service is top class. We eat here every time we are in town and you should do the same. Mario and the team do an exceptional job.

What a fantastic little restaurant, full of atmosphere, top notch food, quick and efficient service and friendly staff. Booked in advance after seeing reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed. My wife and I share a birthday and wanted to try some local cuisine to celebrate the occasion. The restaurant offers a 4 course set menu with a choice of mains and desserts. There is a glass of champagne with the first course, a shot of vodka to accompany the 2nd course and a half bottle of wine each with the meal. Fantastic value at around £40 a head. All the food was fresh and local and you could dine inside or alfresco. One of the most enjoyable and memorable meals we have had.

We arrived at this restaurant and it was a bit tight for Seating as it was raining a bit outside and a little bit chilly so I think they had to move everyone indoors. We didn't know it was a surprise set menu but we were OK with it. We had a carrot and ginger soup to start, which was pretty good and flavourful. Then we had a salmon dish which was decent but quite typical. The first plating of fish we received was a bit too raw for our liking and we weren't sure if it was supposed to be undercooked and sashimi-like or a cooked fillet. We notified the waiter and he gave us another which was well done. The veal dish atop mashed purple potatoes was more memorable and unique. I really liked that dish. Finally, we had the passion fruit pan a cotta which was so delicate. The tart flavour of the passion fruit perfectly complemented the sweetness of the panna cotta. Overall, other than the tight Seating, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Charming waiter who had a passion for Toulon Rugby. Fine selection of courses. We went for a three course set at €25 head. I had snails for starters- long time since last, and they brought back good taste memories, rabbit for main - absolutely delicious, and a creme broulaise as desert. All good, wine good at €23 bottle, atmosphere and service great. Most of the other restaurants in this lovely alley charge more, but the others we tried didn't match quality on any front. Well done!

La Meissouniere is in a little side street near to Cannes Station. There is indoor and outdoor Seating. On the menu there is a good selection of food, including vegetarian options.
The food was excellent and very delicious. I had a complementary hors d'oeuvre of a veggie spread and bread. The mozzarella and tomato salad and pasta main course were both very appetising.
The profiterole for dessert was to die for one huge one, with wonderful, light choux pastry with ice cream inside, covered in chocolate sauce and served with cream.
Service was excellent and attentive, although very busy. Very reasonably priced for Cannes and was my favourite restaurant during my holiday.

....and lots of laughs. Frederique is a hoot. Outside and inside Seating and outside is heated very well. Good bourbon choice, which is rare. Plenty of variety on the menu. Reservations a must.

We were in Cannes for one night and looking for a place to eat. Via Google, we found this restaurant near our hotel, so we were there when it opened at 19.00. Thank goodness for Google maps or we would have never have found it! No sign, a sliding door to the small-ish restaurant. We had no reservation, but we were seated with the understanding that we would be gone by 21.00. What a jewel! Friendly service, great Chianti. I had the veal cannelloni and my husband had the think steak with fresh mushroom sauce. And the prices were very reasonable: two dinners and 4 glasses of wine for 75 euros. Could not find that anywhere else in Cannes! Highly recommended restaurant and there were only locals when we were there.

The Bistrot du Quatre is a restaurant with Parisian and Mediterranean design, that can accommodate up to 40 guests. The Terrace allows you to enjoy the sun of Cannes ... Attached to respect for animals and environment, we offer Bio or free-range meats and wild fishes. Our fruits and vegetables are grown in south of France and are always from the season .. We propose a small card with quality products and homemade food! Open from monday to friday from 9:00 to 14:00 PM and from 7:00 pm to 10:00 PM
...I would say, it is. One of the few cases where the enthusiasm of tourists is not misplaced. The service was lovely, the design is cozy and makes you want to eat, prices were moderate, the street and the sidewalk were quiet, and the salad vegettarienne was great.
The missing star is for the lovely dog (as everything in here) who was free to enter the kitchen and it shouldn't.
Would go back at least once when in Cannes.

Despite being right next to a crowded street, with bars and restaurants everywhere, I got suspicious when I arrived and saw that the restaurant was empty. It was still a little bit early, though. Later, more diners joined, even if it was never too crowded. It was better like that, since it was quiet enough to being able to talk with the owner, who was extremely friendly and gave us great suggestions. The food was very good, as well as the atmosphere. I recommend it.

A wonderful experience. The waiting service, run solely by the couple of owners (or, at least, that was my impression in the evening I went there), is pretty good and they are very nice. Maybe that's the reason why this restaurant operates fewer hours than usual. So, a reservation is usually needed. Moreover, the fact that customers often stay for a long time due to the intimacy you can feel here makes it even more difficult to get a table. As if this unusual atmosphere weren't enough, my meal was one of the best I've ever had in my life: an incredibly perfect 'filet mignon de porc' with the best mashed potatoes ever. I don't know if you still can eat such delicacy, though, since I was told their not so big menu changes constantly. In short, a wonderful experience!
