My husband and I have a special dinner every January to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. We, and another couple, went to the Naschmarkt and had a fantastic evening: fantastic food, leisurely dining, excellent wait staff. A couple of things about the visit - the venue was small, and we were seated in the enclosed sidewalk area, which was a plus as it was less crowded and quieter. Colder, sure, but space heaters kept it comfortable. Had a great view of the street. Bob, our waiter, was knowledgeable, patient, didn't impress the rush some smaller restaurants tend to do to churn patrons. The tab for 4 of us with food and drinks was expensive, but given it being our collective celebration and that they made it special and enjoyable for us, I highly recommend it. The food alone would bring us back.

Aqui is delicious Mexican food with healthy organic ingredients (finally)! They are always packed with customers, might be a short wait for seating, good drinks, location is good at the corner of downtown Campbell (a small town street). Outdoor seating too.

I’ve been hearing about Falafel Drive-in for years and finally made a visit for lunch last week. It really is a drive-in and it’s in a part of San Jose that is part small retail and part industrial. The falafel sandwich was fantastic - hot, crisp, fresh, tasty. There was a line of about 8 people ahead of us at 12:30PM, but the line went very fast. We found a table outside and were in and out in about 35 minutes. Great, fast, tasty lunch. I’ll be back

My first time dining here I was impressed with the quality of food. The restaurant gets busy so arriving early or making a reservation is highly recommended. Every single dish we ordered was divine. Our favorite was the tuna starter (that is no longer on the menu). We also loved the charred cauliflower, King trumpet mushrooms, and the shrimp dumplings.
The dishes are perfect to share and delightfully seasoned with unique flavors such as the blistered shishito peppers. And of course, save room for dessert! Highly recommend the chocolate bombe.

Breakfast here is very good, many choices and also smaller portions of menu items served before 11:00. Lunch is also very good, love their soups in particular the lemon greek. Nice to see just a good family style restaurant still around. Staff are great, very attentive.

Pacific Catch is a comfortable West Coast Fish House bringing together local California sensibility and the spirit of island hospitality. happy hour | outside seating | dog friendly outdoor seating | full bar
Walked here from the Doubletree next door and had great fish tacos. Fish was fresh and seasoned well, slaw and avocado were perfect accompaniment. Service was very quick even though the restaurant was busy. Menu is unique and focuses on fresh cuisine with many healthy choices.

Real food, remarkably priced at your neighborhood kitchen and bar. Featuring California cuisine inspired by the flavors of the Southwest, Asia, and Latin America. Offering wild, natural and organic ingredients in dishes made fresh daily by chefs, and our award winning Industrial Strength™ Swirls and Margaritas.
Friendly staff, quick ordering at counter, good value, nice range of indoor/outdoor seating, plus great prickly pear margaritas. I'm prone to the enchiladas, but the bowls are terrific and you'll find lots of healthy options here. And if you don't want healthy broccoli with your enchiladas the staff are happy to make a substitution (see pic)!

If you're in Campbell be sure to eat breakfast at the stack! Great food and wonderful service. Servings are very generous so order accordingly. For parties of six or more be sure to call at least an hour ahead so that tables can be prepared.

As I've written previously, Blue Line has the best Chicago style deep dish pizza we've found in the Bay Area. I wanted to add information about their service.
We normally do take out, last Friday we decided to dine in. We probably won't do that again. It was slow to get seated, but at least they volunteered to text us when a table was available so that we could shop. But once we had a table, we saw our server exactly three times: when we were seated, when the pizza was delivered, and as we were leaving. Because the wait for pizza was long (the deep dish can take 30 minutes), we wanted to order more drinks, etc. before it came. No server stopped by. Finally we had to grab a busboy. The same happened after the pizza was served and when we wanted the bill. Where was our server, we wondered?
So, buy their pizza but you might want to get it, "to go!"

We sat outside on a mild evening and it was a great choice. The service is attentive and the food not only tastes good but it looks good, too. Our table had the mushroom tagliatelle, linguini vongole and salmon. All were delicious. Our calamari appetizer was perfect and the sauce had a bit of a kick to it.
The food is pretty rich so don't overdo it.
