Good old fashion Fish & Chips We also have burgers and salads as well We have GLUTEN FREE Fish & Chips cooked in its own fryer
Made a special trip to Dick's after Reading such great reviews, especially those about serving many gluten free dishes. The reviews were spot on and did not disappoint! The hostess gave great guidelines about their products and dishes, making suggestions which we quickly followed up with. Chose a 3 piece fish assortment and chips (all gluten free) including one each of halibut, cod and salmon. Mmmmm! Food was hot, delicious, plentiful and didn't have the after taste some gluten free batter does. Left Dick's 100% satisfied and eager to share the experience with others.

Moxie's Grill & Bar Campbell River, casual dining restaurant located in the Discovery Harbour Shopping Centre, features a patio, full menu and bar. Open late
We dined here with members of our family. Choices were adequate. The servers were helpful and the food typical of a higher priced chain. I had a sirloin, medium rare and it was! Moxie’s standards are fairly high and this restaurant certainly met them.Hi VancouverIslanders41, Thank you for taking the time to share your dining experience with us. Hope to see you soon.

The Riptide Marine Pub offers warm and comfortable surroundings, delicious food and drink, and an exceptionally friendly staff. Our ocean front pub offers magnificent sea and mountain views. The dining ambience is pleasantly casual and intimate, with Seating available in a charming interior setting or enjoy the fresh ocean air on our outdoor patio! We are community minded and health conscious. Our focus is to present the finest cuisine and support local organic food producers.
Located on the harbor side of the Inland Passage, there are views along the window tables. One of the first appearances you notice while entering the Riptide Pub is the huge ceiling which makes this place feels like a “Great Hall.” There must be quit an expense heating this Pub during the winter season.
There are actually two floors of Seating. We came early for lunch and there were no crowds at all as other reviewers noted at dinner. We choose our seat facing the Straits.
Service was prompt. We liked our experience so much we came back for a second visit. Both times we were greeted by friendly patrons who frequently dined here.
I thought the clams were particularly good. The French Dip was tasty and my wife enjoyed the soup. There is quite a selection of brews too.

Ok, the restaurant itself is not visually appealing, but the food is darn good. I had a breakfast wrap at lunch which was excellent. The portions and service are also good. My husband enjoyed the fish tacos while our grandson had chicken fingers.

We swung into this cute place late- they close at 8pm so beware. Sat at the sushi bar because all table seats were occupied. Big eye tuna sashimi was outstanding. Udon noodle soup was tasty. Lobster rolls (special) were Authentic and generous. Helpful servers. Cute place. Should have arrived earlier but we totally enjoyed our relatively short time there.

New to town, looking for a quick lunch we spied this place. Saw the Trip Advisor Banner and were immediately drawn to dine here. We were extremely warmly greeted and felt inspired by the menu. Extensive coffee choices promised a caffeine boost. Sadly, it was disappointing. Very weak coffee, maybe it was even decaf, I couldn't get past two sips. Next a very dry beef Sandwich on a somewhat soft hot dog bun that disappeared in the au jus sauce. Maybe it was just an off day for them.

Travellers to Campbell River should take these reviews with a grain of salt, in my opinion. If you've eaten Greek in Toronto or Vancouver or any other late city you'll recognize this place for the basic Greek that it is. Decent enough, but honestly nothing to rave about.
