Very nice new American cuisine restaurant, creative cuisine attractively priced.
My husband & I decided to have dinner at the River Run Restaurant in Norfork while visiting. We had no reservations, but were warmly greeted & seated at a beautiful window table overlooking the river. Our waitress, Sarah, was fantastic. We started with drinks & the smoked trout appetizer. It was out of this world! I had the Prime Rib & husband had the half rack of lamb. Everything was plated beautifully & tasted delicious. We will definitely go back while visiting Norfork!

I've had the pleasure of eating here several times and I have never been disappointed!
Kim and Richard are the Owners (and Richard is the Chef) of this gem of a restaurant with a great view of Norfolk Lake, just a short distance from the Norfolk Dam and a National Trout Hatchery.
I had the good fortune of making a reservation and enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving meal there earlier today.
It was incredible: Wonderful hard-crust French bread and creamy whipped butter, a delicious cauliflower bisque soup, a tasty arugula salad with Saba vinaigrette, incredible roasted Turkey, homemade stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted carrots and parmesan roasted brussel sprouts!
This was all topped off by an incredible dessert that I've never had before: Sweet Potato Maple Layered Cheesecake! WOW!!!
I was warmly greeted by Kim (I don't know how she remembers everyone) and I had great service.
Whispering Woods Never Disappoints!!!

Typical Subway shop. Nice people but the food is, well. . . .SUBWAY. The best that can be said about this Subway is that there are no other places in Calico Rock that are worth the stop. You'd be better off refraining from eating to you get to Mountain Home or Mountain View [if your are going South].

I had a pastrami on rye and it was great. The decor was very interesting and fun. The nice part is the proceeds go to the museum. It took a little while but the décor and window few helped. Right across from some interesting shops to visit.

The name has been changed to "Between the buns" and they have the best burgers in town. Small building so limited space when the rush is on. Great food, friendly service and great prices.
