We have been to this restaurant many times, and always enjoyed the excellent food. The selection of appetisers are so varied and delicious that you worry about having room for your mains! What makes Albertinos different, though is that the friendly welcome and service makes every visit seem like a special occasion!

This restaurant is superb in every way, from the attentive but not intrussive service, to the exceptional food, beautiful presentation and quality ingredients. We chose carpaccio and seared scallops with passion fruit as starters, both very good dishes. Our main course was an exceptional tuna...MoreWe thank you very much for your kindly visit and great evaluation

My wife and I enjoyed dining at the restaurante Naco na Pedra. We did not opt for cooking our steaks on a stone. It's a house specialty but I prefer having the chef do the work. The rib steak that I ordered was done perfectly. It was huge. My wife ordered one of the special fillets in sauce. it too was lovely. The side dishes that we ordered included a local bread crumb and kale salad that was a bit salty for my taste but it was also good.
Too full for dessert but had a nice Portuguese red with the steaks.
Lovely service. We worked through our limited Portuguese vocabulary ( and their limited English) with no issues.
Would return.

Found this restaurant nearby to where we are staying. The food is outstanding and the dishes were all of a standard you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. All the dishes were cooked to perfection with the flavours well balanced and the presentation outstanding....MoreThank you very much for the kindness but we have no pretension to Michelin stars. As for the service we will try to be more attentive. Best regards José Vale

This place was recommended by a close friend. We had no idea what kind of
restaurant this was except that they specialized in grilling, specifically meat.
The service is quick and friendly and the portions are immense. One steak feeds
Two people easily. Don't expect a wine list just go with local house vintages which
Is very good. The place reminds me of a beer hall and that includes the atmosphere.
Be sure to arrive early it seems to fill up all week after 9:00. Parking is on the street
And you might need your GPS to located the place.

This has become our favourite local restaurant since we moved to this area a year ago. A family restaurant serving simple but excellent Portuguese grills, Authentic and traditional , there is no menu but service is fast and efficient. So, the selection may be small but the food excels in quality and taste.
Always a warm welcome from the staff...and the chef! The kitchen with it's huge grill is open to the restaurant which adds to the bustling lively atmosphere.
It's very popular with families so unless you plan to arrive early it is essential to book a table or be prepared to be disappointed. There is usually a queue for tables and quite often diners spill over into the adjoining cafe....that's how popular this restaurant is!!
Must recommend the very juicy vitela, cooked to perfection...it's the best I've tasted anywhere in Portugal. And a nice touch at the end of your meal .....complimentary liqueurs and cakes while you wait for the bill.

We were slightly disappointed after Reading other reviews, it was ok but as we have visited lots of indian restuarants it was perhaps not as good as hyped up
Although hot fresh decent food and friendly service and seems to be only indian place around , prices were reasonable

When shopping at the Farmers Market in Caldas (open 7 days a week in the mornings), this is a great place to sit outside and have a coffee and pastry. If you are there at lunch time, they make a great quiche. A simple luncheon menu with good pastries.
Very well priced, staff is always friendly. A place the locals go.

This is a small family-run restaurant with excellent traditional food, greatly cooked. An hidden gem! The restaurant is comfortable, despite the remarkably unpretentious decoration of the room - don't be fooled by the modest looks. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is mostly traditional Portuguese...MoreObrigada pela sua avaliação
