Things to do in Cala Bona

This restaurant has eight bedrooms and is unquestionably run well (mostly).
It is sited about a ten or fifteen minute walk to the resorts of Cala Bona & Cala Millor both of which are very disappointing. There are crowds of mostly English youths who don't seem to know how to behave in public, drinking too much and giving British holiday makers a bad name.
Now regarding SON FLORIANA:
When we arrived I was very pleased to see how well the place is presented.
Furnishings and all that one could expect from a quite expensive hotel were evident.
The dining room with linen tablecloths and napkins, nicely laid with good glasses always create a good impression.
The waiters too in their white shirts and waist high burgundy aprons compliment a charming atmosphere. This restaurant advertises itself as 'Fine Dining' and it doesn't disappoint.
Our week's stay however was marred by a couple of events which prevents me from giving my review 'full marks'
Whilst the breakfast which was included in our room rate was comprehensive, varied and in the main delicious (particularly the fresh orange juice), finding insects crawling in my cereal one morning was not at all pleasant.
But, my main complaint was in relation to the breakfast service one morning.
Four times I asked for an omelette (in Spanish & English) and after half an hour I was getting quite cross. The waitress insisted it was 'on the way'...when it arrived it was a plate of scrambled eggs not an omelette.
During the course of our breakfast - about an hour- the table was never cleared. We had dirty dishes, coffee cups, juice glasses, yoghurt pots crammed on the table.
Fine Dining?
That day was the managers day off but on his return I related all to him. Naturally he was mortified and we never saw that waitress again. I reminded him of an adage that all in business's are aware: 'You are only as good as your worst employee'.
Staff training was surely lacking badly.
The manager was very apologetic and agreed with me
I would like to think that our experiences were rare in this very pleasant hotel/restaurant and therefore have not marked it down too much.
One more thing to note: the beds are not the most comfortable.

Elegant restaurant and good atmosphere with exclusive products. The quality of our products and services, accessible to ALL PUBLIC is our identity.
Best restaurant we visited whilst on holiday. A bit difficult to find but if you turn off the Promenade at Per Tots and walk up the road, cross first road then carry on and next junction you will see the green wall of Chiacchiere. Every thing here is homemade from pasta to bread to desserts to mains. Treat yourself you won't be disappointed. We had 1st visit Spaghetti Bolognase Very tasty, Huge portion! Duck in pepper sauce delicious, Tiramasu best ever and chocolate and coconut tarte (cake to us Brits) Yum! 2nd visit Chicken curry not hot but very tasty, chicken with mushroom sauce also very tasty, lemon sorbet in Vodka! strong and delicious and stracciatella torte (cake) divine. Very reasonable prices too! Service very friendly, will explain any of the items you don't know excellent English spoken, on the second visit did have to wait a short while but well worth it and as they were busy obviously other people think so too! Don't miss out.

Excellent location, tucked away, almost, hidden, on the far side of the harbour. We popped in several times for lunch so cannot comment on the whole range of facilities available. Good selection, decent quality, reasonable service, reasonable prices. Ideal location for mid-morning or lunchtime snack.

Super location overlooking the smart harbour, and we loved the food! The staff were really lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. We chose more or less the same tapas dishes for both visits and were delighted with our choices. The garlic and chilli prawns in particular were superb!

Thiis is a small bar and restaurant opposite the harbour in Cala Bona Majorca. They offer an extensive English menu with a good choice of breakfasts, snacks and main meals. The food is well cooked, portions large and yet the price one of the lowest in the resort. The staff are welcoming and friendly whilst the premises are clean. I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly.
If you are feeling homesick, then go here for a good pint and really good food. A very friendly place to sit and people watch by the harbour.

right next to the harbout, along with smithy's and the vell mari. I still cant believe you have no entries for these 3 establishments I do feel it gives them an unfair advantage on other bars who have got entries. How come the cats whiskers appears at number 1 and number 8 on the top restaurants? I thought reviews were vetted to stop errors like this,
The Thalassa Cafe is situated in a very pleasant part of the Cala Bona harbour, just behind the tourist office. It offers tapas, cocktails, snack bar, coffees and burgers.
It has very pleasant ambiance whilst you are sitting on the waterfront. There are boats all around on three sides of the harbour set out in front of you.

Stanley's café bar lounge offers breakfast ,lunch & evening menu. Plus new Prosecco & cocktail menus . Stanley's has moved to a new sea front premises for summer 2018.
The name says it all Stanley's Tearoom for that is what it is, simply an English tearoom in the Sunshine.
The place is clean, the service was prompt and the food and drink was as expected..
It is difficult to wax lyrical about a cup of tea and a scone, but simply a pleasant place to while away the time.

A family run restaurant since 1998 with great food and great service!
Smithy's restaurant is a British run restaurant trading since 1998. It is situated at the corner of Cala Bona harbour.
It serves breakfast, sandwiches, starters, meats, curries, fish and salads. Vegetarian meals and Children's meals are available too.
Background music plays to give it ambiance. It is always busy but is clean and has reasonable prices. There is a full bar and has English staff.
