Butte's gold rush past is evident in its vintage signs, historic buildings and numerous trolleys and tours devoted to the memory of mining days. Its historic landmark district boasts some of the country's best collections of Victorian architecture as well as preserved gems from the early 20th century. Beyond its history, though, Butte has a wealth of activities and attractions to offer, from outdoor adventures in the surrounding wilds to arts and culture in the city's museums and galleries.

Uptown cafe Mt Lebanon is the kind of cafe where people spend hours over their coffee and cookies. Excellent coffee combined with delicious home baked cookies and cakes make for an irresistible combination.I believe that this review is for a restaurant other than ours. We are the Uptown Cafe in Butte Montana. Your review seems to be for a coffee shop. Thanks

The menu has a great selection, I chose the prawns. This is a multiple course restaurant that comes with soup or salad, bread, side of pasta or other side, dinner and ice cream for dessert. Full bar, good wine choices. Reasonable prices, reservations recommended.

I love donuts and try shops all over the west as we travel in our RV. We stopped in Butte and I gave this place a go - glad I did. The specialty is their maple bars which are great. People were buying them by the dozen as soon as the shop opened up. They have a wide variety of donuts and rolls.

I was in Butte on business. I felt like a substantial meal. Sparky's filled the bill! Hamburger steak was awesome!! The only thing they didn't have was a good old roll to sop up the gravy! Good selection of craft beer on tap and the service was great! Would definitely recommend Sparky's!

On a cold, icy evening I did not want to venture too far from my hotel. The hotel desk clerk recommended Hanging 5. I arrived about 6PM to a busy restaurant which seemed to have a lot of locals. The place reminded me of a well known nation wide diner, except it had a much less attractive printed menu and the decor looked old, plain and needing of an update. The items on the menu are typical diner style offering quite a large selection. The beer and wine list is quite minimal. I had a beef dip which was reasonably good but far from outstanding. Service was also reasonably good and quick. Prices are very reasonable and may even be considered low. It also appears that I received a small discount for being a senior. What they do here seems to work for many people, but one certainly cannot consider this as a "fine dining establishment". If this restaurant rates that highly in Butte, it kind of scares me to go to other restaurants in the city.

It was cool how they converted this old bank into a bar. There are plenty of TVs to watch the games on. The food was average and nothing really to write home about. I had a pork chop sandwich which was just a fired pork patty. My wife had a Caesar salad lacking dressing and and dry chicken. I would go again to watch a game and have drinks but not for dinner.

The food was amazing, we were here for dinner on Sunday August 20th 2017. Our server was amazing. I had the Blackberry Filet Mignon, for dessert the Hot Gourmet Doughnut Bites. WOW, so yummy, I wanted a second helping!
My buddy had the Black and Bleu Burger, it was enormous! I was surprised that he was able to finish, as he didn't have room to try out a dessert.
This place is busy, and so deserved. Definitely I will come here again! It's always fun to try out places that aren't in Canada.

Great little local place with made from scratch everything. Had the orange cinnamon rolls which are HUGE and gravy biscuits. Delicious! Kids didn't like their cinnamon rolls but they're weird and the adult at the table who got one loved it. It's huge. Like the size of your head. I had the small biscuits and gravy and it was 1 biscuit split, and covered in homemade sausage gravy. The gravy was loaded with meat and did not disappoint. Very good coffee too. Food did take forever to arrive but apparently that's normal for them. I would definitely go AGAIN and just plan my time accordingly.

We've been going to the Freeway for decades and one thing hasn't changed, and that's the famous WopChop and chicken dinner. I usually have a hard time deciding cuz I like them both! It's our "go to" whenever we have friends visit, it's pretty much an institution here in Butte. Personally, I prefer the Jo Jo's over the fries, and the prices are beyond reasonable!
