Tawan Deang in Buriram is no different to those in Surin, Bangkok etc. It's a fast paced, lively, fun place to spend an evening. Be prepared to dance all night and be invited to drink and mix with the lovely people of Buriram.
There's live music and a DJ too. You can eat from the excellent menu or just drink and it's not expensive. Just go there watch the locals and copy them. It's great fun.

I have stayed at the Klim Hotel many times and always enjoyed their excellent buffet breakfast. On this occasion we chose to have an evening meal and it was very good. Extensive international menu with delightful staff serving the meal in a very friendly and professional manner. The prices made it very good value.
They also helped out in providing a small cake and music for my girlfriend's birthday.
I would definitely dine here again and recommend the Klim Kitchen.

Bit far from Buriram downtown but it's worth for who wants to try real Thai Northeast food. Grill pork and beef are wonderful and also the soup called 'Tom Zab with soft bone' it's worth to try. However, they have no English menu. It may difficult for foreigner alone to order.
