We are new to the Brunswick, Ga. area and found Indigo on Trip Advisor. WE LOVE IT!
The food is fabulous (without being too clever) and the service is very personal.
If I walk into one more place in Brunswick where they play country music and every third person is named Bubba, I think I will lose my mind.
Prices for what you get are very reasonable. The menu items are eclectic and represent an interesting spectrum of middle eastern, Caribbean, and local dishes. We love the chicken and mushroom soup, the Bombay chicken salad, and especially the desert de jour...peach pound cake with vanilla ice cream. And the fried okra is the best we have EVER had.
The hours, along with the place, are also eclectic. Check their web site for the hours they are open. We much prefer weekday lunches to weekend dinners because the place is small and can get quite loud.
Basically, what you get is an old house with a red linoleum tile floor, wonderful food and wonderful staff. There is NOTHING pretentious here. And that's just the way we like it. It's by far and away the best of all the places we've tried in Brunswick and St. Simon's Island. We go back again and again.

Out running errands and husband wants bbq. Here in the south we are serious about that. Only place to go is Gary Lee's. His hours are only Wed-Sat so we have to plan a bit more. The pulled pork sandwich is the best. The sauce with it makes you want to lick the box it is so perfect. We also will grab a rack of ribs. It is a filling lunch/dinner/or game day snacking. Ask for extra sauce........

Please join us for unbelievably great service and excellent food. Our menu is comprised of homemade signature "specials" as well as our traditional menu items. We are health conscious and do not utilize a fryer therefore our "almost famous" wings and french fries are baked, we use only fresh vegetables that are hand-cut several times a day, our meat is always fresh and we use only the freshest field greens, fruit and vegetables for our signature salads. Try our Baked Spaghetti or our Homemade Italian Lasagna and Garlic Bread. Our meat sauce is house-made from our signature recipe! Outside dining if you choose, and we are "pet friendly". Please join us . . we would love to cook for you today!

We found this place through positive online reviews, and it was as good as everyone was saying. Nondescript place, located in a strip mall, with a plain seating plan, but the food quality is outstanding. Daily specials, so call ahead to see what's being offered....Morethank you for making the trip!

Looking for something local and different, we found this local favorite. Very prompt service and chicken wrap special was wonderful! Husband ordered pork chop sandwich and it was great with the onion rings. I added the tomato soup and it was very good and filling. Nice selection of bar drinks and beer. Arrived about 1:00 and parking was not a problem. Looks like they have live entertainment in the evening. Plan to come back and explore this quaint downtown area.

The atmosphere is friendly and laid back. The food was good, but crazy overpriced. I don't know how the college kids afford it. The food is good and the place is really well known, but I personally think it's highly overpriced for what you get. I won't be back. Not a good bang for your buck.

Had a great lunch here today. We had the sampler appetizer, crispy flounder and an order of sushi. Delicious. I read some reviews regarding their service but ours was great. My wife brought home some leftover curry a few weeks ago and it was delicious as well. We'll go back.

Moondoggy's Pizza & Pub has a casual and fun atmosphere serving great local cuisine! We serve everything from Chicken Wings and Pizza to Beef Carpaccio and Mussels Fra Diavlo! Please come check us out!
Visited this restaurant for the first time with wife and friend. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the prices were very fair. The beer was cold and at a good price - $2 during happy hour. Sorry, but the white pizza was no good. The crust was excellent (thick) but had salty bacon slices on top and just was not good. Maybe another choice? Who knows.
