About five miles from I-40, this inconspicuous building is home to some great Bar-B-Que. My choice was a pulled pork plate, which came with beans, slaw, potato salad and a roll. Serving size was large and all items were delicious. Price, with drink, was ten bucks and change. Most people get their meal to go as the seating here is minimal. two table inside and two out. Helen cooks the meats and does most of the waiting on customers. She is very friendly.

We enjoyed GRACELAND, in Memphis, and wanted a quick "GOOD quick meal, & desert," to make time, before we got "ice bound," as we have before on I-40. We noticed the options, at this exit, & the vote was "a hot meal," + Chocolate Cherry Loves. The place is comfortable, clean, spacious, & with very capable servers employed. The rest rooms were clean. The canopy Drive Thru, was a benefit for travelers wanting Togo. Our burgers, & my favorite, grilled cheese, were as desired. WoW, this was a good move, stopping here. The CHOCOLATE CHERRY LOVE desserts were the best we've had.

So glad we stopped here on a road trip for a very good lunch and friendly service at this cute artsy place. And interesting story about the art installation nearby.

Absolute best burgers! They don't use frozen patties; they make the patties themselves and you can sure tell the difference. Their burgers have great flavor, texture and seasoned and cooked just right. Awesome burgers and would definitely recommend this restaurant as well as eat here again.

This is a "no frills" restaurant offering the option of drive through, "to go" or eat in. Portions are generous and prices inexpensive. If eating in the food is served on polystyrene plates with plastic cutlery. But at these prices it would be optimistic to expect anything else.
Good friendly, efficient and helpful service. They made a fresh pot of coffee for me. v

My mother and I were driving through the country and found this lovely restaurant in the town square. We were greeted by a delightful lady named Carolyn Reed, who we later discovered owns the place. The food was obviously made from scratch and some of the best I have ever tasted. Down home southern cuisine at its finest. I would eat here every day if I could.

We ordered online and got pasta and chicken. It was delicious. First time ordering online and getting delivery. We were actually across the street from it, but we had a bad experience happen (car broke down on the weekend on the highway) and we had no choice but to stay in brownsville tn and didn't want to walk.I ordered at 5:27 and I got my order at I think 5:40ish Very good, i would order from them again.

We eat here regularly. The queso fudido is one our favorites. I have tried several dishes off the menu and have never been displeased.

Italian and Greek style restaurant, Steaks, homemade pizzas, gyros, calazones
When you go to the Veranda, you will be taken care as soon as you step in the door, no matter if the place is packed or not. The wait staff are informed, helpful and pleasant. They serve italian/greek style foods. They have a super cheaply priced lunch buffett, several items, from pizza, polish sausage, fried chicken, mashed potatos, spaghetti.....plus a full salad bar with a wonderfully made ranch dressing, even the dessert bar is fantastic. I usually have the thin crust pizza or a calazone. THis place definatly is my favorite for Pizza! The Cheese is real and plenty the meats are thick and juicy. I have taken out of town guests there and they love it. Try this place you will not be disappointed

Not a very well run location. The only thing good I can say about it is they have a nice restroom and it's conveniently located off the highway. We usually enjoy stopping at McDonald's but, if they don't do something real soon about the poor employees they have everywhere they are going to go under fast. We hear all the talk about how the employees want to make $15 an hour yet, almost every location we visit the service is about as poor as it's ever been. We've have been to some that are showing signs of new technology and automation. I think they need to move real fast toward automation and replace as many of the low skill employees as they can.
