We are a drive-thru and walk-up restaurant serving a unique fast-food burger cuisine. Our specialty burgers include the use of a variety of breads and sauces. Native fry bread, jalapeno and Montana wheat buns provide a solid base to build fantastic burgers using sauces such as a chipotle berry, smoked chipolte and western BBQ. We also offer a wide variety of other sandwiches, wraps and salads. Side items include sweet potato fries, onion rings and jalapeno poppers. In addition to this varied food menu, we have an extensive frozen treats menu including flavored soft ice cream, sundaes, every flavor of milkshake, smoothies, slushies and snocones! We aim to please every palate, so stop on in on your way through Blackfeet country. We're only 14 miles from Glacier National Park!
Nation's Burger Station is Browning's small town fast food place that most towns have. It is more of a drive thru place, but they do have a table or 2 outside you can eat at. Other than that, you can walk in and order, but no indoor seating. Being quite the windy day, we chose to take the food back to the car. The food turned out to be good. It was recommended to me to order a buffalo burger and huckleberry shake somewhere in Montana. I ended up choosing to do that here. The burger, though smaller than what maybe you would get in a bigger restaurant, turned out quite tasty. I ended up getting things in combo form. The fries were good as was the huckleberry shake. Lots of burger, chicken, and hot dog items to choose from. There are a couple of well known names in eating in Browning, but if you're looking for something different, Nation's Burger Station is a great option.

Stayed three nights next to the restaurant. I had the T-bone, lacked flavor and seasoning. Fries were like flobby noodles, and the club sandwich my wife had had no sauce and a tiny bit of bacon. Worst place we ate, much worse than Taco johns, and that is sorry!

Homey lunch spot that provides a welcome respite from the highway. Helpful, friendly waitress served us delicious Turkey noodle soup that ate more like a stew with fresh yummy fry bread. My husband enjoyed the fry bread so much, he ordered more to take with us.

Even though this is a chain, we stopped because we like the food and the choices are fairly limited in town. Most locations have excellent food, and this location is no exception! The difference is, the service was great! They were very friendly and even came to the table and cleared our dishes! It wasn't very busy when we were there, so we were helped very quickly and the food was very fresh. The employees were very friendly and the restaurant & restrooms were clean. Worth a visit.

See my review of Aspenwood as a B&B. It is the best restaurant near or in Browning, and many locals eat there.

Shoulder Season is a bit of a drag in Glacier - but only a little bit. We chose (and will continue to choose) the Shoulder Season because as bad as it gets - dodgy weather, dealing with the closures of roads, restaurants, attractions, border crossings, etc, - it is FAR PREFERABLE to rubbing elbows with hoi polloi during June, July and August! Far, far preferable! Mary's delightful little boite in Babb is open year 'round. And serves breakfast all day! And a fine breakfast it is as well as a kickin' luncheon: Fish and Chips is out of this world - although we cannot understand why it is served with toast. We ate it anyway, of course! Onion Rings are out of this world. The cheeseburger was an O so healthy portion and delicious. Omelet with ham and peppers was so yummy and the Bs&G (biscuits and gravy) were EXCELLENT! I'd say practically perfect in every way. The room itself is unprepossessing - just the way I like my restaurants near the entrances of National Parks. The owner Mary is a delight. Right out of central casting and a reason to visit! PLEASE DON'T MISS THIS PLACE. We ate there twice. And on the day they are closed during the week try The Hun's Den. And don't forget - they are CASH ONLY!

I'd seen some bad reviews of this place a few weeks earlier - comments about boarded windows, dirty floors. But I can't recall what source I was looking at; I'm almost certain it was NOT Trip Advisor. In any case, none of those comments was true on my visit. The building seemed brand new; windows were fine; the interior was clean and bright. The subs were good; standard Subway fare.
The only "negative" comment I have is about the lack of a courteous, friendly greeting. I don't expect to be greeted like a king, but a friendly "Hello - how are you? How may we help you?" sort of thing costs nothing and impresses people. It's a point to consider. :)

We chose to visit here for a date night, on the recommend of friends. We were impressed with the sparkling cleanness of everything (bathrooms were A+) and were interested to watch the staff carefully wipe down all the machines in view as gambling patrons left them. It was a fun, great place to spend time for a meal - very well run establishment! We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others!

This place is not fancy but the pizza is just delicious. We came across it looking for food at 9 pm on a weeknight and even though the door was closed and the hours say "close 9pm", we were served a great Hawaiian pizza.
The host was super friendly and gave us a seat in front of the tele and control of the remote. There is a friendly cat prowling around too and she appreciates pats if you're interested.
When we pulled up outside, the door was closed but not locked and it turns out it was closed to keep the place warm, so don't be discouraged by this. The place doesn't look like anything special but I recommend it for good comfort food.

We just stopped in for milkshakes one afternoon before heading back to our lodge at the park but it's worth saying, the milkshakes were fabulous! And a great excuse to come back next year when visiting again to try the food.So glad you enjoyed the milkshakes, you'll have to stop by for burger and fries to go along with your milkshake!
