Sono's high quality food and service provides you with the best Japanese 'fine dining' experience in Brisbane. The atmosphere and interior design is spectacular, it makes you feel like you're in Japan! The service is of the highest standards and can never be faulted.
Most importantly the food is superb. I have dined at Sono Restaurant numerous times, specifically for teppanyaki and the lunch bento boxes.
The teppanyaki joint is ran by experienced and charismatic chefs, an experience filled with lively entertainment and beautiful dishes. The chefs are extremely skilled and can't wait to show off their tricks and cooking style.
The lunch bento boxes are gold! Each stunning dish is a gem of its own with the best of all flavours that complements and represents the diversity in Japanese cuisine. I keep going back for the bento box, there is nothing quite like it and you won't find anything nearly comparable in Brisbane.
10/10 with Sono, I have never had a disappointing experience.

Great service, good ambience, interesting food - we really enjoyed our meal here - from the (essentially) ham for entree, superb gnocchi and very well cooked steak. Highly recommend if you are looking for something apart from the standard 'Qld fare' more often on offer in Brisbane.

Masala Shanti is an authentic Indian experience on Tamborine Mountain at the heart of the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. A family-owned and run restaurant, we take pride in great customer service, our use of fresh ingredients and delicious food.
I don’t often eat Indian food away from home ( I live between Leeds & Bradford) but this busy little restaurant looked inviting. We didn’t make a booking but they managed to fit us in. So I would probably recommend that you book, especially weekends. We had two courses each and a couple of sides. They were extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. The coconut rice was delicious. And although not ‘home’ we thoroughly enjoyed all the food. Very generous portions. You can bring your own wine. But they also serve wines and offer a selection of beers and ciders. Constantly topping up your water. However it’s the staff that make the experience so much better. They are polite, attentive and extremely friendly. One young lady went to the trouble of writing down a recommended route for us to drive home the next day so we took in the best views. Another diner told us it’s the best Indian food on the Gold coat. I’ve not tried any others but would recommend here.

This little cafe is hidden in Oxlade drive at New Farm, but it is a fantastic experience. The breakfast is made and served with love and smiles. The staff are fantastic and owners are grounded and lovely people.
I used to work right in front of this cafe and used to be a regular here, shame I work in CBD now, but every now and then make a point to go here for breakfast.
What a lovely little place!!

Punjab Curry Club at Wellington point is an authentic Indian Restaurant. We specialise in both modern indian and authentic indian food. Our food is cooked keeping in mid the English taste.
Fantastic attentive service, beautiful decor and stunning food. We have now tried most of the menu as this is our go to destination for dinner out and it is all amazing food. The Naans are delicious and the food is moorish.
A great place for a family dinner and also for a romantic dinner for two.

Every element of the award winning Bacchus restaurant has been designed with indulgence in mind. Head Chef Massimo Speroni's menu showcases a modern outlook on classical dishes and a commitment to quality ingredients and depth of flavour.
Had the breakfast buffet on the second day of a business trip. Fantastic range of options, with the option of made to order eggs. I ordered some poached eggs which came out perfect! Fresh juice, flavoured milk, and made to order coffee available. Plenty of hot dishes to chose from, only minor issue was not a great range of pastries to select from.
Would highly recommend if staying at the Rydges having breakfast here at least one morning.

Dined here on Saturday night. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere with a unique culinary offering. Limited numbers of each dish so you can be assured of the freshest produce. Very authentic Italian cuisine and friendly service from an all-Italian team. Recommend trying and if you’re a local to the area it’s a possible regular for you.

Three Little Pigs believes in providing impeccable service and a classic dining atmosphere.
We ate here on recommendation from Trip Adv and we were very happy with our choice. The place is frequented by locals which is good sign. Has a very modern but casual feel. Loved the deconstructed bruschetta. And really loved the pork belly. Wonderful crispy crackling skin and melt in your mouth flavorful pork - great combination. I closed my eyes each time I took a bite and chewed. Service was prompt, but not overly friendly which was different from everywhere else we visited in Mt. Tamborine, the whole town was filled with neighbourly people. Still recommend a visit.

Found this place whilst driving through the back streets. Glad that we stopped in for breakfast. The omelette was filling and full of flavour whilst the pancakes were accompanied by an assortment of toppings that ensured even the fussiest of small children would find something to eat. Large outdoor area where children could be noisy within disturbing others.

Savour the true taste of Australia, infused with a decidedly European edge. Created around a 'paddock to plate' philosophy, the menu at Cotton's Restaurant features fresh, seasonal and local produce from the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley, whose natural flavours are enhanced through the sophistication and structure of classic French techniques.
With a group of 15 people we had a banquet Sunday lunch. The restaurant kindly settled us in the air conditioned boardroom , which is a private dining area for our large group. Service was very attentive and the young man who was the host/waiter did a great job explaining the dishes. Food was abundant and I think we could have feed about another 4 people there was so much food. We had the slow cooked lamb, a chicken dish and an array of roast veges, corn, whipped potatoes and salad to feast from. Desert was a tasty apple dish which finished the meal off beautifully.
Restaurant and lounge areas was clean, tidy and comfy. There was a particularly homey lounge area for our group to meet up in on arrival. The restaurant verandah was striking with views over the garden, pool and Mountains beyond. What a pleasant surprise and experience our entire social outing was. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, there seems to be something to look at, at every turn. Property management are doing a marvellous job here, so too the very busy and attentive restaurant and bar staff. We hope to return another time and book accommodation as an addition.
