We’d been here several times a few years ago and loved the food and the friendly service.
Nothing has changed. Our lunch the other day was good, real good.
My Special Quesadilla was perfect...flaky crust stuffed with creamy cheese. My shrimp ceviche was also good, bountiful and good.
My wife loved her pozole with pork and her fish taco was tasty.
The service was attentive, welcoming and fast.
We’ll be back...soon.

I've heard of the croissants here and just had to try one. It was already in the afternoon and I didn't drive this far not to try one. I wanted to try the jalapeno and cheese but they were out, so settled for the ham and cheese. They are excellent! I ended up buying donuts and pan dulce to take back home. The ice tea they make has great taste! The time I was there looking and choosing pastries, the line kept getting longer and longer with customers, this is a busy place. I can see why, everything looks delicious!

Love it or hate it, Starbucks is what it is. Good coffee of uniform quality at so many places we travel. That's a good thing. And here the coffee, Pike for both of us this morning, was just what we needed and expected.

Hands down Johnny's is the Local's favorite place to go and the place people miss the most when they leave.

Average food- lots of breakfast choices. I like eating at locally owned restaurants and this one is a wonderful find- lots of old photos in the front entryway.
Employees are friendly.
Food- ordered an omelet that was supposed to have onions and peppers- and it was plain. Was told there was only hash browns and no one even asked if I wanted jam or honey with my toast.
Plenty of seating, plenty of parking.

My wife and I dined here during our recent tour of California. On our first visit we had the Vegetable Burrito's which unfortunately were not very hot, though they were very tasty. On our second visit we tried the Eggplant Parmigiana Dinner, which was excellent, hot, tasty and well presented. All served by very friendly, attentive staff. Very pleasant and authentic Mexican atmosphere. Free WiFi, would visit again, recommended.

The best food for any price in Brawley. I had a very good carne asada burrito, asked for beans, these burritos come with meat! $4.50 for a gut filling burrito, tasty, fresh, I'll take that every day.

I spent two weeks in Brawley because of work around the Salton Sea. In order to try and sat a healthy diet (my hotel room had a fridge and microwave but I clearly could not really cook for myself) I chose to eat nightly, just about, at the Inferno. I asked for some modifications in the dishes they made and they were more than happy to oblige. Instead of making their asparagus breaded and deep fried, for example, they grilled fit or me. All in all, I only ate a few items from the menu to keep my diet healthyish - but you can do it here and it is tasty. The staff is friendly and seem to not mind such demands put on them. I definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant has great Mexican food! I tried the Pollo en Mole and enjoyed it very much. My husband enjoyed a combination plate. There were lots of local people eating on a Friday night, a good sign! The bar behind the restaurant seemed to have lots of business too, but we stayed in the restaurant. We would both go back...great food.

While the menu is no different than other Subways across the country, this is the only one in town. The location is on the west end of town which is convenient for those that are on that side. Having another one on the east end of town would also do well. Since my work required that I bring my own lunch, I had to travel from east to west to get the sandwich for the next day. A slight inconvenience of a 20 minute round-trip. Still.....
