I had Fried Combo Platter - Crunchy panko fried Haddock, sweet clam strips and five crispy straight shrimp served along side your desired - two homemade sides. The haddock (??) was a little dry. The clam strips were puny and overcooked. The shrimp was good. Would return but would not have their clam strips.

They do not have a liquor license but encourage guests to bring their own wine which they serve with no corkage fee.
Very friendly and well trained staff add to the ambiance. We were seated for a weekend lunch with no problem but learned that evenings are best secured with a reservation.

Located in an old house in a residential area. You wonder if you are going to the correct place. Small. Friendly efficient service. Had the specials. Veal osso buco with penne and tuna with eggplant and roasted Brussels sprouts. Bottle of Sicilian white wine and shared a started of roasted golden beets. Total cost with tip $125. Food nicely seasoned—not over seasoned with good flavours. Tomato sauce on osso buco was very good

This restaurant sits at the end of a pier surrounded by a marina filled with big, expensive sailboats. This setting on the Manatee River is outstanding but our meals were mediocre at best.I had the blackened gulf scallops which had a seasoning unlike any blackened seafood I have ever had. The flavor was more of a southwest type seasoning which did not add anything to a seafood dish. The scallops themselves had a too firm texture that was not typical of a smooth fresh scallop. My companions both had the lobster pie and both said that the pie had too much gravy and too little lobster with a flavoring that did not compliment the dish(thyme?) None of our meals were piping hot even though we were seated inside. Our experience has us scratching our heads in puzzlement over all the positive reviews.

Traditional pub food with a great view. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Seasonal salad tasty but chicken was dry and overcooked. Calamari was almost too greasy and lacked taste.

Ah.maz.ing!!!!! The food options, Esp for gluten free, are out of this world (vegan also). Full dessert case of awesome gluten free desserts (cupcakes bars and pies) and a FULL gluten free menu including stuffed pastas, fried food (separate fryer), bread, pizza and pasta. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Space inside is limited and it's in a strip mall area, but WELL worth having a meal here.

Breakfast and Lunch Cafe specializing in fresh homemade foods. We cater to a wide variety of tastes and dietary needs. Unique vegan and vegetarian options are available! Our signature dishes include a variety of eggs benedicts, breakfast skillets, and our awesome sage biscuits with sausage gravy! Try one of our tasty sandwiches on our fresh baked bread!
When we waited almost 10 minutes for coffee, we should have realized it would be a long wait for food.
The food was okay, plenty of gravy on the sage biscuits (2) and the potatoes were crispy. Spouse had fried eggs, potatoes, sausage and a biscuit, he said it was "okay." We sat outside on a nice patio as no tables were available inside. However, we did not go here expecting to wait an hour - seriously, an hour - for breakfast with no updates or apology from the server. If you have a lot of time to spare, you may want to try it. I think there has been alot of hype for this cafe, as I don't understand the #1 rating. Service was okay, food was okay, but we don't plan to return. Breakfast was $21.00, coffee is $2.50.

The German Lunch and Dinner spot is in the Publix-anchored shopping center at Cortez Road W. open Monday - Saturday. Since opening in September 2014 the Lucky Frog is part of Bradenton’s 10 Best Local Eats, voted three times as Finalist by Bradenton Heralds Peoples Choice and has 4.9 Stars from 5 on Facebook. They offer German and Mediterranean Meals (vegetarian or gluten-free possibilities available) and everything is made from scratch by the owner, Master Chef Uwe. The name comes from "The Lion and the Frog" retold by Brothers Grimm. On the menu, the dishes are named after the fairy tale. There's the Golden Palace, a Vienna-style Schnitzel with German potato salad, the Queens Heart, a Beef Meat, marinated in Red Wine and Vinegar with Red Cabbage and homemade Spaetzle, and the fresh made Potato Pancakes are the best in town. Uwe takes a great care with plating the food. "Your eye is eating first before your stomach. If it's appetizing already, then you really enjoy your meal."
How lucky we were to discover The Lucky Frog, tucked away in an inassuming strip mall on busy Cortez Road. 1) Deliciously prepared and presented German entrees 2) service was excellent and welcoming. 3) superb live jazz!!! What an unexpected find!!Thank you very much for your great Review. It was our pleasure to had you here in our Restaurant and We hope to see you soon again. You're very welcome

Inside and curbside the food is delicious! Salads so fresh you can hear them growing! Appetizers for every taste...fish spread to the best smoked wings in the country. If you wish inside dining and a bit more staid atmosphere, choose the dining room. However, the fun is in the bar....with all the great food and drinks, too!

We are not just ordinary pizza buffet, we are Fire & Stone. We are a proud family-owned & operated pizzeria with a genuine commitment to true family tradition. Majority of all items on the menu we serve are fresh made daily, as well as our pizza sauce, dough, dressings, dinner sauces and so on.
