My friend ordered the cake for a bridal shower from Dice's. My job was to pick up the cake. Dice's was so helpful in helping me load the cake and gave helpful pointers on getting the cake to the event in one piece (There was no way to get home with out driving over hills and valleys). The cake had lemon filling that was so delicious and the icing was perfect. And, their "sticky buns" and eclairs are worthy of the trip to Boyertown!

Exquisitely delicious food, great service, beautiful back patio dining area.
I started with the tomato basil soup and my wife had the smoked pork chili with cheddar. Each appetizer was so good we had to switch to enjoy the other.
I had the rack of lamb, my wife had the crab stuffed flounder. Dinner was so delicious, the servings so generous, we ate like Kings. The leftover lamb made me a great dinner the next night.
The place is popular, so make a reservation.

This is a very busy store but I like it and like the coffee. The managers are very nice and so are the other staff. This is a pleasant location that I enjoy visiting.

Best breakfast in town & the sandwiches are outstanding. I haven't made it in for dinner yet but everything Chris makes is good, so I'm sure dinner is delicious. Bacon cheese burgers are one of my favorite selections at CD's Place. Great food & supporting a local business - it's a win win!

Even though it can get very busy at lunch time; the staff is always friendly and allows plenty time to look over the varied; and something for everyone menu. My personal favorites are the grilled chicken salad and grilled veggie sandwich. Soups and salads are to die for too. It's esp. nice to be able to do a cup of soup with 1/2 a sandwich.
One of the best soups was chicken vegetable, sounds odd but was delish!

This little family owned restaurant is by far the best hoagie on the East Coast! Made to order with the freshest ingredients- soft and chewy roll, lots of veggies with the best tasting onions every time and piled high with meat and cheese! Grab a bag of chips and a Coke and enjoy!

A group of us were going to eat at another restaurant before we enjoyed their music; unfortunately their kitchen wasn't open yet; fortunately, Durango's was nearby and we were glad it was. Service was very accommodating and pleasant. Service was quick--it was a Wednesday--and pleasant. Food from nachos, chicken Caesar wrap, meatball and cheese steak sandwiches to the calamari with a white wine sauce were enjoyed by all. We plan to return.

Our daughter and son in law brought us here for an early dinner, 5:00pm on a Saturday. Good thing we went early as the place quickly filled up. There is outside seating but couldn't sit there as all the tables had reservations. We ate inside and sat at a large table with bench seating. There were 4 adults, 2 children and and infant in a carrier. It was perfect. Wings were ordered as an appetizer which were good and the guys had a large selection of beer to choose from. I had the apple walnut salad along with my daughter which was very good and granddaughter had barbecue pulled pork. Unfortunately they didn't have a kids menu so we had to order the regular size. The roll didn't get eaten as she just wanted the pulled pork. We were disappointed in that. After dinner we took a walk outside to the fishing area and outdoor stage. No entertainment that night but looked to be fun once they open it. On our own we would have never found it so we were pleased to find someplace new. We will return but will order for the kids to meet their needs and not have unnecessary waste left on their plates.

Cozy is often the word a our new (and regular) customers use to describe our restaurant. Originally built for Carver's Dairy it was converted into a restaurant. The walls and booths in the dining room have wood reclaimed from Boyertown High Schools stadium seating, which will explain the faded numbers and occasional 'peepholes' in the booths. The main dining room with its original tile floor and an added wood stove, used to be the dairy's bottle washing room where the milk trucks dropped off their glass bottles to be washed, sanitized & used again. The front room with additional seating is now more reminiscent of a coffee shop with additional seating. The Bears' Den located a bit off the beaten path, but just barely. We are a couple blocks from both Rt 73 (turn onto Chestnut St.) & Rt. 562 (aka Reading Ave) Turn onto 2nd Street, then turn left onto South Chestnut St) Our parking lot borders Boyertown Beverage.
My husband and I go to the Bear's Den nearly weekly for breakfast. The coffee is the best in the area and I love that they use coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee!! Breakfast is always great. My husband get the omelets and scramblers and they always look good. Great pancakes. They are enormous, BTW!. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten there. It's a nice little place that has "regulars" and has a very hometowny feel too it. It's a great place for breakfast and our favorite compared to the other options in the area.
