The chicken and dumpling serving is HUGE. Found out after attempting but not succeeding in eating my order that my hubby and I could have shared an order. Something to think about. Entree comes with a relish tray which was nice. Choice of soup or salad. We choose the salad which was very good and fresh. We had the house made dill which was very good. Also warm bread. As I mentioned the dumplings are HUGE. There are 2 of them with the chicken underneath. You also get a bowl of string beans and a bowl of gravy. The reason I am only giving this a very good is because the food could have been warmer. You could not taste much warmth as you ate your food. There is your waitstaff person and 2 other people who were bringing water and making sure everything was going well in the dining room. These 2 young people were doing an outstanding job. I kind of felt they paid more attention to us than our main server although she did a fine job. There was no room for dessert which is a shame cause it looked like they had some goodies. You have the choice of eating either inside or out. We choose out which is a nice experience. It has been many many years since we have dined here. We were glad we came back. Not sure however if we would return again. The major disappointment was the food could have been warmer.

I feel that the Keen Bean is a great place to stop for your morning coffee. I have been there a few times, but mostly I know that my mom is a frequent customer. I have always received great coffees and chai teas there (my sisters love the italian sodas) and to be honest, the Keen Bean serves tastier products than any Starbucks in Sandy.
It's a small drive-thru that's tucked away by Alice's Market, with a marquee by the road that aims you right to it. I've noticed that I've only seen one or two workers in there, of all the times I've driven through, and so the girls recognize you. They are young and friendly, but I've never had an experience that would make me think that they are air-headed or ditzy either.
I would suggest the Keen Bean as a replacement for Starbucks. The downside is its location (ideal for anyone commuting between Sandy and Troutdale or Gresham) but though it is a minute or two out of the way, the customer service is speedy and a good experience overall.

Downtown area, it took me a little bit to find them. The bagels were fresh with a nice assortment to choose from. The associate that helped me was super friendly and very helpful, I was buying for a large team at work, so we decided on two dozen with a mixed variety and four flavors of cream cheese. It was a huge it!

This is the newest location of Nicholas Restaurant, serving authentic Lebanese food in beautiful downtown Gresham. Convenient free public parking nearby, as well as street parking. Escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and have a relaxed meal with family, friends, and colleagues. Vegetarian and vegan options. Gluten-free bread for purchase or enjoy our free large pita, served hot from the oven. Best hummus in town. Dieter's menu for those counting calories. Beer and wine served. Turkish coffee. Scrumptious desserts. We also cater for meetings and events. All this and more can be found on our website. If you're traveling to the Portland area, schedule a little time to visit downtown Gresham.

Greeted immediately upon entering and seated right away. Almost instantaneously had a pizza-size piece of flatbread served with sesame seed, thyme, olive oil dip set down! That would be a meal in itself, but I ordered M’Jadra and it was fantastic! The lentils and rice done perfectly!
A definite recommend!! Go out of your way to get here, you won’t be disappointed!

Not overly impressed with this restaurant. They advertise as American and Chinese food and a family restaurant. This is not exactly reality here. It is mostly Chinese food and not an overly family friendly restaurant. The attached bar/lounge is VERY loud. When ordering a taco salad or a burger, it tastes like Chinese food. There are plenty of other places in the Boring OR area to try for a good meal, which is what I will do in the future. Also, when it came time to pay our tab, we did. When we got home, we noticed we had been double charged and it took a while to get it fixed on the restaurant's end so the double amount was credited back to our credit card.

My husband and I were visiting friends of ours who live outside Boring and spent quite a few mornings walking on the path near this bar and grill. We saw the sign and had lots of fun with the name so we decided one evening to drive down and check it out. It turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. The burgers were good and the waitress seemed to be having as much fun with us and we were with her. When I couldn't decide what I wanted to drink, she offered to bring me a sample of the cider I was considering and it was a good thing she did as it was way too sweet for me. I went with one of the local beers instead and was very happy with it. We missed the live music and karaoke, but we had a lot of laughs together and our friends who live there decided they just may have found a new place to hang out.

Great authentic Thai food in Sandy OR. Went there around 3pm after sending our son to his afternoon activity (after skiing in the morning). We were dying for some Asian food after burger and hot dogs most of the week. I think I yelp'd 2 Thai restaurants and 1 Chinese restaurant in Sandy and the wife wanted to go Thai. So we picked this place, and it didn't disappoint.
Since it was 3pm, it wasn't crowded, only 1 other customers sat outside patio. The place is sort of cute, its like a converted house, maybe Thai "Home".... Not a big place inside, we sat down, friendly middle age waitress came by. We ordered pad see yew with beef, seafood with basil (I think) and Thai ice tea. Pad see yew was very good, very moist, soft, and none of the noodles were stuck together, and taste was very good. Seafood was good too. I always put the traditional Thai hot fish sauce with my pad see yew and I wasn't sure if they had it. So I asked for it and they did have it (slightly different than in the LA area but was still good). All in all the food was good and authentic.
When finished we talked to the waitress for a while (maybe she is the owner, I didn't ask). She is originally from San Gabriel in the LA area (of course originally from Thailand), that probably explains why the food was authentic.
We will definitely be back next year when my son comes back to summer ski camp. Highly recommend it.

They have the best lunch boxes. Sandwiches, chips or potato salad, drink and a cookie. Lots of wonderful pastries to choose from. Cute gift shop as well. Love this place.
