Turquoise lagoons, soft white sands, and deep tangerine sunsets set the scene for romance on the island so nice they named it twice. Mingle with tropical fish as you flutter around Coral Gardens or Tupitipiti Point, or relax in a self-driving tour as you take in beautiful views of the once-volcanic Mount Otemanu. At the Lagoonarium you can watch shark feedings and swim with turtles. Cap it all off with a succulent meal at one of the island’s fine French restaurants, then sip a tropical cocktail under the stars.

I've been to Bloody Mary's many times. You get to select from a large offering of fresh fish and beef, which is then grilled on-demand. Real sand floor and wooden stumps to sit on (which get very uncomfortable).

The World Famous 7 table restaurant located in Paradise
Villa Mahana is a unique dining experience in that there are only a handful of tables in the main restaurant and a few more on higher levels open only during busy periods. Not sure what view people are referring to when they review this restaurant but we got a corner table looking at 2 walls right beside four 20-something, over-privileged, obnoxious, foul-mouthed Americans.
So after we moved tables, we ordered the 5 course Menu Exotique. Dishes included Ahi Tuna, Curried Mahi Mahi, Beef Tenderloin in Vanilla Sauce with Gnocchi and Banana Flambe however the presentation was uninteresting and overwhelming ~ Envision chunks of undercooked fish and shellfish, giant slabs meat and pots of sickly creamy dumplings. It was a big waste of food and money on the part of the restaurant and took away from the culinary experience for us. Maybe it was an attempt to make up for the horrible atmosphere created by the swearing, belching brats that dominated the room but it didn't work. Throwing them out, regardless of how wealthy their parents are might have worked.

Experience The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort's exclusive signature restaurant LAGOON by Jean Georges where you will find an unparalled French and Asian-infused menu hand crafted by the celebrated Jean-Georges Vongerichten. LAGOON, which just won the 2014 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, offers the freshest fish and ingredients indegenous to the Islands while presenting the most eloquent backdrop of the mythic Mount Otemanu and crystal clear waters. Embrace this ultimate culinary dinner opportunity along with a full-service bar that opens at 5:00 p.M. With a modified snack menu
The position of this restaurant is as the name suggests, right on the lagoon. The glass floor allows you to see the sharks below. The staff were impeccable, both in their quality of service and their knowledge. We always like to try food we may not have had before, so the papio and urevena fish were a must and were delicious. The starter of raw tuna and octopus, all sourced locally were stunning. It really was a great evening and we felt well taken care of.

We read about it in our lonely planet guide book. They don't have their own website, but here are some sites that reference them. http://www.boraboraisland.com/cyber/ http://www.trivago.com/bora-bora-95418/restaurants/aloe-cafe-886943 http://www.tahiti-tourisme.com/islands/borabora/bora-bora-restaurants.asp
For such a small location the menu was impressive. Service was on “Island time” or it would have been a five star “snack shack” experience. The pizza was quite good, especially if you like a very thin crust. We heard of this place several times from the locals and we will be going back again.

Nice and clean stand who offer hot dogs, hawaiian shave ice and cold drinks.Located in Bora Bora main town Vaitape.the way to eat cheap and fast in the island.
I had this bookmarked before our trip so when I saw the pop up stand in town, I knew this was it! The owner is super nice and friendly. We had a simple dog with fixings and spicy sauce. The bun was awesome, it was like a mini soft baguette. And once we inhaled those, we went for our desserts, the shaved ice. Yum! If you've been to Hawaii, this is the type of shaved ice you get here. And when it's hot and humid, shaved ice hits the spot whether you're a local or a tourist. Our eyes were too big for our stomachs so we each got the Big Mama and towards the end of our cups, we were kind of full of sugar and ice. I'd say go for a hot dog each and then get a medium or small each. And if you want more, then get another one. Big Mama beat us this time. All that for $16, can't beat that!

It won't win gastronomic awards but for a cheaper than average for the location option it's decent enough for a lunch time snack and its position on matira beach is lovely with great beach and lagoon views. Good place to stop for a thirst quenching drink as well.

We grabbed dinner at this beautiful island staple and it was such an amazing experience. Our romantic tour included a romantic boat ride and dinner at St. James. Our preset menu consisted of an appetizer:[mahi tuna or shrimp prons salad], dinner:[steak filet or mahi tuna], and dessert: [caramelized latin dessert or cheesecake]. The french wine selection was very robust and the views were spectacular. You can also take a taxi if your located on the Mainland.

The restaurant is beautiful!!! The food is 100% geared for seafood lovers...which makes sense, you're on an island. Unfortunately, the selections to swap seafood for something else is very limited. My husband loved the food....no doubt it was great. The food I did eat was good, but adding additional items would have been appreciated!

Bora Bora Yacht Club is a restaurant with French and Polynesian cuisine, offering a range of boat services and a bar to travelers from the land and ocean since 1972. A must-stop during your trip to the pearl of the Pacific.
Been eating here twice, different portion sizes on the same dish. The waiters are nonchalant. Always finish of something in the menue and you dont get your glas of wine with the food, when you have eaten up...
Some beers and wines are always finish. Some dish you cant order because of it is lunch... please have a lunch meny and a Dinner meny separate!
Not good in english....

The gimmicky sand on the floor is not sufficiently atmospheric to make up for the poor quality of the food, and the long wait to receive it. My husband and I waited over an hour for our dinner, and the local swordfish was chewy and tough, while my fish was tasteless. One is far better off at one of the restaurants that offer an ocean view and better quality food for less money.
