We arrived with local residents for lunch by the river. Arrived around 1pm and was fairly quiet. Service to order was a bit slow but food overall was nice. 3 people had variations of spaghetti dishes which were good while I had Escalope Limona Piccata...MoreThanks for the feedback. Hope to see you soon. Have a good weekend! Regards Trattoria Kaai

we had a perfect lunch, starting with surprising appetizers served in a very original way. All dishes are little paintings: the clam carpaccio, the succulent beef, the range of après desserts, .... Nice winelist, though very french. The setting is very original, the tables very special.

First time that we visited "Den Boom". We were with a group of 4.
Food; classic french cuisine. Very well cooked. I took the Irisch beef. It was e perfect piece of meat, presented like it should. Everything was made by hand. They even make the sabayon for 1 person at your table.
Winecard; a nice selection of wines. Going from 20 to 145 the bottle. The have also a nice selection of smaller bottles for the persons who drink alone ( also with very good wines )
The restaurant; Old classic building with charm. The have a working fire place. Perfect in the winter.
Service; Also the classic service. No remarks!
General conclusion; they will see me again in this restaurant. Never thought that Boom had such a nice restaurant... If this restaurant was in the middle of Antwerp, it would be te place to be.

Service was quick, we didn't experience long waiting times although the restaurant was almost full.
On contrary entree was served 5 mins after we got appetisers. Table next to us got their main while still eating their starter (tapas)...
So a better coordination is needed.
Food is simple but tastefully. Prices are a bit on the higher side, compared to other (likewise) restaurants.
Seating was good.
It s a good choice, but to get the most value fir money... i would certainly go for the fixed menu s and not a la carte...

Michelin-starred restaurant Centpourcent brings an innovative contemporary cuisine full of fun and colour, with dishes brimming with subtle textures. Chef Axel Colonna-Cesari and his companion Anneleen Soethaert make you enjoy an exquisite culinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
We had a fantastic evening there, relaxed, well served and eaten well. Just everything went very smoothly as you would expect. We had the five course dinner. We felt satisfied but without feeling over stuffed. Very refined!! What is exceptional is the possibility to have not only 'adapted wines', but also 'adapted beer'. Nice to discover some new beers of the enourmous beer culture we have here in Belgium.

I tried Nino's as recommended by Tripadvisor :) It is a cosy, jazzy place with a very nice menu card. The veal plate tasted very good, juicy as it should and is a plate I would recommend. Nino's also has a great selection of Italian wines, something the chef is very proud on. The prices for the wine are on the high side though. In general I would rate this restaurant as good to very good. But five stars is overrated.

I went there with friends, the food was really yummie. Only minor point was that they often came back to asked what it was we ordered. And one dish they got wrong. my friend ate it and it was good but it wasn't what he ordered. They did offer to change the dish but then he had to wait while we had our food, or we had to wait and our food would get cold. So he decided to eat the wrong dish.
Really good food.

We had dinner there with two other friends. The decoration of the restaurant is very pleasant and cosy. Although situated in Flanders, the waiters did the effort to comment the different dishes in French, but were not extremely friendly.
We went for the full discovery menu. The food was excellent and nicely presented.
I was nevertheless disappointed by the accompanying wines. The price of the menu is fair, but the extra for accompanying wines is too expensive for the quality of wines that are served.
To be honest, this often annoys me. The quality and expression of a good cook has to be found in the dishes and the price should be set according to the quality. Maybe they should increase the price of the menu. But on serving wine, there is no value-added at all and still a lot of restaurants charge way to high prices for basic wines to compensate on the price of the menu.

food was terrible for the price paid : fish that had been frozen was completely tasteless and overcooked
also the dishes from my family members were overpriced for the quality served
staff and service is not great, not friendly, they priovide the strict minimum service you require.
