Highly recommended by the concierge and staff at the Pinecliffs, we tried this restaurant on a Saturday evening before Easter. Was a great recommendation, nothing to fault about the restaurant - food was good, welcome and service full of warmth and attention, nothing too much trouble and very reasonable cost. Is a family run place, plenty of locals as well as people on holiday and concentrates on both traditional Portugeuse dishes alongside a good range of sea food and grilled meats. Our starters included a generous portion of melon with parma ham and a really lovely bowl of grilled tiger prawns in a tomato and garlic sauce. Followed up by a cataplana (they offer either seafood, in various options, chicken or other meats) and also a steak served "ticosta", a coffee based sauce. With a bottle of nice red wine, plenty of water and dessert, the cost was less than 100 euros for 4. Lovely atmosphere, a real pleasure to go here and one to return to. Excellent for couples, groups of friends, families.

The food was disgusting. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, noodles with bean sprouts, ribs and hot soup. The soup was sour. The ribs were covered with batter and tasted like they had been bought frozen and cooked a week ago. The spring rolls were just thick batter and almost no filling. There were just two lousy spring rolls in portion for 3.20€. And the noodles were just blunt. We couldn’t eat anything. When we complained the waitress didn’t even apologize for this disgusting food. And only said that they had been working for 16 years and never had had complaints. With this kind of attitude they charged the whole price for everything. By the way, the wine costed like it was a fancy restaurant. But it was awful. We felt pity for everyone who ate there. We wrote a complaint in the book of complaints. And we hope this place will change their chef, standards and personnel.

We had a family night out close to Xmas, staff were great, very friendly and food was fab. We had a set menu for 2 and the kids had separate meals. Price was reasonable and quality was good.

Definitely worth a visit should you ever embark upon a tour of the Algarve. You'd be daft to not try out this restaurant!
Overall the Food was good. The garlic prawns were overlooked. Pesto pasta was basic but good and the Pizza was also good, nothing unique or fabulous, but a good meal. Service was very very pleasant and friendly.

A real gem. Father and son run and it is where all the British Ex-Pats eat as excellent value for money.
Went here on recommendation from a fellow holiday maker. x2 bread couvert were bland and stale. I had the prawn garlic starter and I have tasted better rubber, obviously frozen. I ordered the "portuguese steak" which was basically a very thin piece of minute steak, folded over to make it look like the real steak it should be, tough as leather. It cam in a whole plate of bubbling gravy fresh from the microwave. Wife ordered the swordfish with fresh veg. Both meals came at the same time but my wifes whole meal was stone cold. Sent it back and it came back a full 10 minutes later, but the same piece of fish!!! Sent both mains back and asked for the bill £30 for a very dissapointing experience. Waiter tried to make ammends with a free drink but I am sorry the damage was done. Fantastic little cafe next door though. I cannot believe the good reviews, either these people have never had a decent meal or live on warm up ready meals

After a long day of golfing at Monte Rei our group was looking for a take-away meal and cam across the Real Indian Magic. The lady who took out order was very welcoming. We had a wide range from the menu between us and having had not so good Indian food in the region previously were not sure what to expect. We very pleasantly surprised when every single item selected was very well cooked, tender and tasty. We would highly recommend the restaurant again for golfers in the region looking for a good take-away. The only thing to note is that they don't accept credit cards, but the price was very reasonable at €119 for a party of seven, including starters and a side dish.

Had a meal here on 31/10/2017 which was excellent as always.
Told that the restaurant was closing that night for extended holidays whixh was bad news for us as we are regular visitors to this place.
The majority of other restarants were closed in Olhos for the winter as there were very few holiday makers in resort.

We have been meaning to come for a while, having read the reviews, and took a group of friends on Saturday. All of us loved it, hidden down a side street, and cozy, with delightful service. Small menu but everything we had was delicious. lovely complimentary starters and desserts, and the main courses were excellent. Jazz music, quirky decor, great wine even though only a choice of one, but it was excellent. Will definitely be back.

We went as a group of 5 to this restaurant after seeing the reviews on here and we were not disappointed.
We were greeted by the very friendly owner who was happy to provide a mixed starter for us and cater for a vegan which was a very refreshing change from most of the restaurants in Olhos de Agua!
We had a few different curries brought to the table, with chicken and lamb and chickpeas. Some naan and different types of rice. My family loved each and every dish we had.
I had a chickpea curry which was THE BEST curry I have ever eaten including all of the meat curries I previously loved before becoming a vegan. Mushroom rice was amazing and the chapatis were divine.
Honestly, you will not be disappointed if you eat here.
If we ever return to Olhos de Agua we will eat here again without a shadow of a doubt.
