You sit right on the Beach - can see Dolphins and whales often, nice spot for a morning coffee and breakfast. Service can sometimes be a bit slow - but if you not in a hurry perfect.

At parc. cafe we aim to provide you with the best possible cafe experience in Durban, through intelligent, thoughtful and affordable food, friendly and efficient service and a homely comfortable ambiance. Nestled in the heart of Glenwood, parc. offers you a social, casual dining experience that captures the essence of Durban culture.
My girls and I came across Parc when one of them was going upstairs to have make- up done. What a gem! I had the liver pate with potato and rosemary bread. So yummy, all the interesting preserves and pickles on the plate made it a real experience. Girls us rare sirloin Samis, their only complaint was the enormous amount of rocket- but they were so delicious too. Well done, we will definitely be back. Oh and our waitress was really lovely!!

A modern and stylish Grill/Steakhouse that offers a short and sizzling menu. The meaning of Jichana, "eating good" in Swahili, embraces the flavours and aromas of the original east Coast of Africa's spice route. Cassia, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, turmeric and pepper. These robustly flavoursome spices complement the grilling of meat, fish and chicken creating Jichana!
From the enthusiastic opening of the front door to the wave of waiters eager to serve. One would be forgiven for thinking they all had equal shares in the business. My medium jichana steak with a truffel mushroom sauce and mash was exquisite.
Well done folks, I'll surely be back.

Heidi's cafe is a rustic, comfortable, homely little spot to hang out after a early morning surf, time on the beach, or to just come enjoy some simple, good food. We specialise in breakfasts, coffee and home baked goods. The entrance to the cafe is from Foreshore Drive, at Anstey's Beach Backpackers. Find us just past reception above the swimming pool. Any questions just call! :) Our treats are freshly baked, and made with love :) This page is here to keep you updated on our breakfast specials, what I've baked for the day, new menu options (coming soon!), Etc. We serve Bean Green's famous Bluff Bru coffee, and Sir Juice's amazing fresh juices. If you are coming in a group, please make sure to book in advance. This helps us in our little kitchen, and also makes sure you get a table :) P.S: This page is here for any suggestions, to share your photos from the cafe, or even just to show us some love! :)
I love getting Heidi's Hangover cure with a cup of cappuccino. The place is very cute with a nautical theme with a bit of beach chic mixed in. The ladies that work there are very sweet and helpful. Afro’s started in a trailer at “Durban Day”, Peoples Park in September 2012. That was the first of two trailers that travelled durbs for two years, pulling up at the finest markets, events, shindigs & private jols. In 2014 we moved into our first shop on South Beach, serving surfers, cyclists, power walkers & anyone who agrees it’s “lekker by die see!” We’ve moved into a 9 locations since then. and we’ll keep moving.
We often walk our staffies along Durban’s beachfront always stopping for a bite to eat at Afro’s. We love the casual atmosphere of eating outside with our dogs nestled under the counter whilst we eat our scrumptious Afro chicken. A must stop with or without dogs
