First thing I noticed thru the door was the overpowering smell of fry grease. I ordered the triple brownie, which is hot with ice cream on the side. While standing there, I couldn't help but notice the spattered blizzard mixer and numerous containers under the soft service ice cream servers full of melted ice cream. The floor was filthy. The waitress took the brownie to the back to warm it and then left it on the counter while she made 4-5 blizzards. The brownie was not warm, much less hot when she finally served it to me. Usually, I have a nice ice cream treat at Dairy Queen, but this was terrible. I was there about 5pm on March 21st.

Closed Tuesdays and major holidays. We have 90 delicious burgers on our menu to choose from. Roasted chicken and Friday all day fish specials. Try something new and have your cod, walleye or shrimp flame broiled or roasted.

The exterior isn't all that inviting though do not let that stray you away from this gem. The variety of burgers and the taste is incredible. The onion ring were delicious as well. I definitely will be back!Glad you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for the kind words. See you next time.

LOVE the food at this place! This is a local bar and grill - filled with locals, but everyone is warmly welcomed! We live nearby so we try to go here as often as we can. We are NEVER disappointed with the food! The menu is very large for a small place. The owner makes the best homemade soups and pies!!! She is a OUTSTANDING COOK! From the walleye to burgers to steaks - the food is great - and you will leave stuffed! The food is priced reasonably too! And they have our favorite beer- always served in a ice-cold mug...ah...life is good!

I've eaten here many times and have always enjoyed every last bite. Unique and fresh soups and sandwiches along with a few classics. Always very fresh and very reasonable.

We stopped for lunch while driving through to check out the fall colors and we were so pleased with both the prices of their food, the quantity, and the taste. My husband ordered a roast beef plate and the portion sizes were huge. He said it was absolutely delicious. I had soup and salad and thought both were wonderful and I was blown away by the generous amount of bleu cheese dressing they gave me (most restaurants skimp on the dressings). We also ordered Banana Cream Pie for dessert and that also was perfect! I can't say enough about this place! It's so nice to find an old fashioned diner that serves great homemade food with great prices.

Fat boys club sandwich is very good, get the fries and slaw for additional $2.50 it is worth it, service is always great here and the owner always comes out of the kitchen to talk to everyone in the restaurant, fat boys is a great place to eat and we will always eat here, always something different to try, they have a very good variety of different foods, prices are very reasonable

This place had been recommended by a work friend that lives in the area. It's the standard Wisconsin bar and grill menu, very reasonably priced. Very large establishment with ample seating and bar space. They have a lot of special events here, although I haven't attended any of them.

We have long enjoyed Casa Mexicana in Rice Lake, WI. So glad that there is one in Bloomer now. They have a huge menu (everything from pastor - pork to vegetarian to huge portion mexican regulars, huge beers and margaritas. Something for everyone, accomodate large parties easily. There is ample parking, easy off Highway 53 and everyone is very friendly

We visited this restaurant in July 2016 having chosen it based on an article in a regional publication. When we arrived, we were taken aback by its appearance (worn, tired, unkempt). Even though it was noon, we were not even sure they were open, as we were the only car in the parking lot. We entered the bakery area first and we were not impressed by the upkeep; however, as we have traveled the world we were prepared go give the restaurant a try. The restaurant food quality was normal to below-normal. The overall appearance and cleanliness of the dining area (excluding tables) was poor. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. During the entire lunch time that we were there, there were only 4 tables occupied. We will not return, nor will we recommend this establishment.

We stopped in Bloomer en-route to Milwaukee and found a true gem of a bar/restaurant in Bloomer WI Harms Way has specials for lunch everyday. We stopped in on a Tuesday and it was $2 1/4 pound hamburgers but we opted, based on a recommendation from a local to try their Rib Eye Steak Sandwich. We did and it was one of the best, and largest, steak sandwiches I've had. The menu says it's 10 oz. steak but their scale has to be broken, the steak was nearly 14 to 15 oz and cooked to perfections. Stop in if your in the area, food was great.
