This was a perfect finish to a great romantic getaway with my wife. Returning from Charleston, we found this gem on trip advisor made reservations for 530. We arrived and we're graciously welcomed by the staff and seated immediately. The dining is small and cozy, make reservations we went on a Monday and the place was pretty busy. Started off with a great server who walked us though the specials. My wife had the pork chop was delicious and perfectly prepared. I had the rib eye it was very tasty maybe like 1 degree over medium rare that I ordered. The server advised me that it may be over in temp and if it was they would cook me another. There was no need it was so perfectly seasoned there was no way she was taking it from me. My wife and I will drive from Bryson City just to eat here again. Oh the Apple butter and biscuits are warm fluffy and a pleasant addition to a perfect meal.

Proudly supporting your coffee habit since 1999. We buy some of the finest green coffee beans available and roast them off-site on an American-made Diedrich roaster. As roasters, we deeply respect farmers' dedication to excellence and sustainability, and we strive to honor their hard work by carefully developing each harvest's optimal flavors. As baristas, we are invested in brewing coffee that showcases nature's genius and in sharing it meticulously and enthusiastically with you. As community members, we strive to forge rich connections and to provide a third place that fosters creative interaction and supports the vitality of this beautiful place. We're located in the quaint downtown historic district of Black Mountain and offer delectable homemade pastries (GF options), fresh fruit smoothies, and coffee frappes in addition to all of the traditional espresso-based beverages. Free Wi-Fi, parking and outdoor seating.
This place is repeatedly voted “Best” in class in WNC as The Dripolator earns it by preparing Sustainabiltiy grown high quality coffees thin a convivial atmosphere. I tried a Golden Latte. It was an amazing savory coffee with turmeric, cinnamon, pepper and honey. A coffee to savor and feel great about.

Sooooo many choices of ice cream to choose from it was hard to make a decision. They will let you sample as many as it takes to make up your mind, and they were all good. A perfect place to have some great ice cream, relax and watch the world go by.

Daily plate lunches, six house made soups, unique sandwiches, wraps, Panini's, salads, decadent desserts, and more..
Was a bit skeptical that a small town restaurant would accommodate my dietary needs, but no need to worry. They have great gluten free bread and a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups for me. Nice small town atmosphere and would recommend for anyone that wants a good simple meal in an off the beaten track location.

Hey Heys cupcakes are delicious! This has been my favorite cake place for years. Definitely a huge fan of the Vanilla-for-rilla and the carrot cake. I've ordered multiple cakes from Courtney and Gabriel and they have all been exactly what I've asked for decoration wise and taste wise! Clever names, great service and amazing cupcakes! A definite go-to if you visit Black Mountain or need a specialty cake!

The Artisan, where shopping is a sensory experience! From the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the visual appeal of local artwork on the walls, to the excitement of shopping for gourmet foods or relaxing by the fireplace with a glass of wine. What our customers come for:- Friendly staff- Great breakfast omelettes, pastries, lunch options- Sandwiches, soups, desserts- Espresso based drinks by trained baristas made with locally roasted beans. 100% fruit smoothies made to order. Fresh meats and seafood, deli with prepared foods to go, extensive wine department and local products. Free wine tasting Thursday evenings from 5-7- Free wifi. A great place to meet friends.
Given how busy lunch places in Black Mountain can be during tourist season, the Artisan is a delightful change of pace. Not crowded; quiet; great food; yet not out of the way. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich on artisan bread. It was excellent.

We adore this place! It's possibly THE BEST breakfast I've ever had. The biscuits, pimento, homemade jams (my fav is raspberry) are lovely. It is laid back and reasonably priced. Do not miss this one!

Don't let the unappealing location off old rt. 70 deter you from this great roastery. There is porch seating and a eclectic, well-lit interior. Coffee is great, fair trade, and consistent (we have ordered it for months from their online business). One bag they ground for us was too fine for our drip coffeemaker, so it kept clogging the filter. I'll always ask for a coarser grind from now on. Otherwise, we've had no issues. The bonus was the delicious blueberry muffins that appeased my caffeine-free elementary age kids. Ok. I had one too.

We were looking for a more ketogenic breakfast (with more protein and less carbs) -- all local recommendations mentioned Louise's for breakfast. We immediately met some local retired persons with their mini poodle enjoying their breakfast. The place is cozy with a homey interior, tables are not cramped in the various rooms, and they are well-situated on the wraparound porch. You order inside, and the server brings it to your table. Definitely would recommend. (Would get coffee at the Dripolator in town)
