Lewis & Clark, Custer, Sitting Bull and Calamity Jane may be long gone, but they are not forgotten in Billings. Museums, galleries and landmarks honoring these legendary characters from the Old West dot the city, making it a history buff's dream destination. Surrounded by six breathtaking mountain ranges, Billings also offers plenty of opportunities for fresh air recreation, including hiking, biking, golf and viewing rare Montana wildlife. Spend time at the Western Heritage Center, an interactive museum full of clothing and remarkable artifacts from the Yellowstone River Valley. In the early 1900s, the railroad brought wealth to Billings and testaments of this prosperity are still standing. Be sure to visit the regal Moss Mansion, designed by architect H.J. Hardenbergh (who also designed the Waldorf-Astoria and Plaza Hotels in New York City). In the more modern realm, MetraPark offers horse racing, rodeos, concerts, fairs and other types of entertainment everyone will enjoy. And kids of all ages will enjoy the animals and games at ZooMontana.

One of the best burgers I've had ever tasted. With real mushrooms and real garlic!!! Service was friendly and awesome!

New American Cuisine served in a casual dining atmosphere. Daily specials include Beef of the Day, Pork of the Day, and two Seafoods of the Day. Beer and wine.
This place has class. It is also casual. We had some very good food here. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Staff was excellent and helpful. Water glasses always full which is unusual anymore. I truly liked the veal piccada although a larger portion would not have been out of order. The grilled airplane chicken was a large portion and both wife and daughter loved it. This is a wonderful place to take someone to be impressed, like a date...or a mother-in-law.

We started in Billings before setting of on our bi-annual motor cycle trip. And decided to eat at Lilac again. My wife and I and two friends are from the UK but we all spend a considerable amount of time travelling around the world. And while contemplating the menu we were discussing "best restaurants" that we'd ever visited. After a great meal of crispy chicken wings, steamed clams, pastrami smoked pork belly & braised short rib (shared of course!) all washed down with a couple of bottles of outstanding Californian Merlot, we finished with a couple of deserts and the cheese board. And all of us voted that Lilac was most definitely on our list. The front of house staff and the big team in the kitchen worked so hard to make our visit memorable. Can't wait to go back!

We were passing though Billings and stopped in for drinks and dinner. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The beer was really good. We tried the IPAs and were pleased with all of them. The service was outstanding. We sat at the bar and were waited upon by several different people, but all were attentive and personable. The food ranged from great to good. We tried the deviled eggs, pretzels and fried cheese - very tasty. We will be back the next time we are anywhere near Billings.

Walkers is a well-established downtown favorite and a destination for locals, travelers, theater-goers, and museum patrons alike. The menu is a glorious mix of international cuisine and western comfort food and selections offer freshness and simplicity with professional wait staff that contribute friendly service in a casual, yet urban, dining setting. And the barkeeps are some of the finest in the region and have been classically-trained in the art of drink, not to mention they’re just kind of nice folk. Walkers serves dinner only, 7 days a week, with live jazz every Sunday from 7-10. Come and enjoy some great food, crafted drink and infamous Walkers’ hospitality.
Visited this restaurant with some friends and was not disappointed. Great service and great food. Some good selections to share, especially the Artisan Meat & Cheese Plate, and I must admit I fancied some comfort, food and the meatloaf hit the spot. We had a...MoreThank you so much for the kind words. You just can’t hear them enough. Look forward to seeing you again!!!

We stopped in for breakfast and were greeted by a friendly server, fresh cosmopolitan fare and a hip atmosphere.
We ordered 2 iced coffees; one with house-made caramel sauce to die for, a raspberry pastry and a baguette with fresh caramelized grape jam. All were excellent and we quite enjoyed our selections.
Whilst we were nibbling, the owner came up to our table personally to ask how things were. That was a great touch.
The only downsides are the limited hours and parking during peak times. Plan accordingly.

We eat and Rib and Chop about once every other month. The food is consistently great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have a couple of areas that can be sectioned off if you have a group that wants a little privacy. They are great with special requests too. Haven't had anything but great food there. They are located among several hotels on the west end of town. Stop in for lunch or dinner. You'll get a great meal and great service and the restaurant is usually quiet enough that you can have a nice conversation over your meal.

I've eaten at many Texas Roadhouses the last 14+ years. Even worked at one. This Roadhouse was a great experience. Our Server Jamie was extremely pleasant as well. All of my food was prepared how I remember it when I was an employee. Good job Billings, Wyoming. Thanks Jamie. Thank you Texas Road House. Roadie for Life!!!

The Montana Brewing Company was founded in 1994, and is Montana's first Brew Pub. The Montana Brewing Company features the regions most award winning selection of beer. The Brew Pub is not just about beer, we feature a large menu with burgers, mac & cheese, and fish & chips as local favorites. A great place to meet friends and family, and don't forget to check out the urban patio in the warm Montana months!
Great food and Beer! The Moscow Mules were pretty good too! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and it was packed for lunch.
