Big Sky is an outdoors person's dream, nestled high in the Gallatin National Forest, presided over by Lone Mountain and just a few miles from Yellowstone Park. The Big Sky Ski Resort offers ample activities for all seasons, with exhilarating skiing and snowboarding in the winter and scenic lift rides during the summer. The surrounding terrain and trails make excellent biking, snowshoeing, horseback riding or snowmobiling escapes, while the Gallatin River offers thrills for the intrepid rafter.

Olive B's is owned by longtime Big Sky Chef Warren Bibbins and his wife Jennie. Located in Big Sky's Meadow Center, Olive B's is open for lunch and dinner Monday-Friday. And, Dinner only on Saturdays. Outdoor seating, with an unbeatable view of lone peak, is available during the summer months.
From the moment you enter this bright restaurant with its friendly staff, you know you are in for a great experience. The service was outstanding and the food excellent. We ordered too much food and had to take some home. The view out of the restaurant is Big Sky mountain which makes it even more special. So glad I booked this on the advice of Trip Advisor. We plan to go back during our visit.

The Blue Moon serves locals and tourists the best value in the area. We are open all day every day, serve delicious and reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Come on down and check out why we have been serving up 'Big Sky Food' here since 1992!
Great baked goods. All sorts of breakfast and lunch sandwich options. I had the bagel hame, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was to me pipping hot and it was wrapped in aluminum foil. I had to even let it cool down before I had second bite. Great place for a quick bite and some great hot beverages. They dont have all of the Starbucks varieties but good enough for a quick fixen. It's a local gathering place with table seatings and the atmosphere in away hippies but it seems everyone seems to know each other in this small little town. Costumer service was great!

We are a local coffee roaster and cafe where we serve freshly roasted coffee! We are currently undergoing a change in ownership and the shop is under construction but we will update our food and drink menu soon! We look forward to serving you!!
Very cool decor, nice space, friendly staff who make your coffee to order. Too bad it's not always open in the off season like Blue Moon bakery across the road.

Together with Riverhouse, you really want to visit Bucks T-4. The history, the food, the ambience. Everything's just right.
We ordered Cheese and Charcuterie - highly recommended, and a varieties of meat and fishes. All good. They are not as specialized as Riverhouse on BBQ so you want to visit that later also.

If you are planning to visit Big Sky at Thanksgiving or Christmas you may want to consider buying your Turkey or ham at the Riverhouse and taking it back to the house or condo you have rented.
The turkeys are either smoked or deep fried and the hams are smoked. You only have to go online and place your order and tell them when you want to pick your order up. Then, at your selected time pick up your meat and it's ready to serve. Put it on the table and enjoy your holiday feast. I would suggest placing your order about 10 days before the holiday.
I can tell you I have never had better smoked Turkey. Plus the turkeys are huge.
Happy Holidays

And I only take a vacation once a year out to the Rocky Mountains but soon as I get a chance to go out to big sky and stop by this little mom-and-pop store where the sandwiches are made fresh in the deli and I get the roast beef sandwich on Shibata bread with lettuce tomato red onion and horseradish sauce the sandwich itself probably has to weigh well over a pound or more don’t really need much of anything else except for a bottle of water absolutely delicious I was in and out of the store in less than five minutes thank you very much for a wonderful experience I will return again and tell my family and friends about you

Our family experienced the Montana Dinner Yurt over Christmas and the whole experience was a blast. The ride up the mountain was fun and our 22,20,19 year olds participated in the sledding which was non-stop laughter. The food was excellent and the staff did an amazing job. There was a musician playing guitar and our daughter sang a song with him. It is BYOB and we enjoyed bringing our own wine and champagne. Don't miss it!

Made a reservation for late night dinner for two on a Friday night. They were short staffed at the front, but waitress and service was good. No frills restaurant when you get there, but a cozy mountain ambiance. Food was delicious!! Elk filet was excellent!! Would definitely come back here next visit.

The Lone Peak Brewery has become a favorite stop of ours after a day of activity be it skiing, snowshoeing, golf or fishing! The staff gets it and always make you feel welcome, are interesting and very helpful!! Their beers are very good, my fav is the Hippy Dippy Highway Stout, with my buddy liking their Nordic Blonde. They have plenty of other beverage options for those not into beer. The chicken quesadillas, beer cheese soup and chicken bowls is very satisfying. The vibe here is just plan fun!

Rustic Italian pizza and dishes from local farms served up with some Montana hospitality! Gluten free and vegetarian options available.
I was here with my ski club for a club sponsored dinner. First we had a salad and cheese/meat buffet . I was very surprised to find prosciutto among the meats. Then we had a pizza buffet of many different thin crust pizzas. As good...MoreThanks David B.!
