Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a country of 32 beautiful Caribbean islands in the idyllic Caribbean, stretching south from Saint Vincent Island to Grenada. Proud of its French and British colonial history, it is now part of the Commonwealth of Nations and CARICOM. Bequia, pronounced "Beck-way”, is blessed with white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and friendly people. Port Elizabeth is a bustling yachting town. Enjoy yachting, scuba diving and snorkeling over coral reefs. Restaurants on Bequia tend to be small, friendly local enterprises. Try “goat water” soup, Bitter Lemon a popular soda and Hairoun the local brew. The island of St. Vincent, originally named Hairouna by the native Caribs, is relatively small, and its mountainous landscape makes getting around a challenge. Its capital is Kingstown and also its main port. Follow the Vermont Nature Trail and experience the spectacle of more than 500 parrots in flight. Numerous endemic species make this trail their home. Take a stroll along a scenic coastal path and take pleasure in the numerous waterfalls or hike to Fort Charlotte and be amazed by the views. Challenge yourself by a climbing the Soufriere volcano.

You are never disappointed with any aspects of Fernando's Hideway. It is the last building at the end of a road (truly hidden). You are captivated by its charm as soon as you enter. The food is alway delicious, the staff and chef (Fernando) are all friendly and helpful. Dont miss this one when you go to Bequia. Fondly known as Nando's.

Terrible service, poor attitude, food expensive average and we left hungry. No music which was advertised. No lobster, no crab, no this or that. Then cash only as no internet connection but I can post this! Avoid. Places like this will ruin Bequia. Shame on you Coco after running a great place in lower bay everything has been downhill.

Had a nice lunch while catching up with some old friends who run this hotel. I'll highly recommend this restaurant and there are lots of choices on the menu for repeat visits.

We visited this beautiful cafe twice during out trip to the grenadines. We enjoyed coffee and the most delicious cinnamon buns ever. It’s the most beautiful spot, sitting under the almond tree looking out over admiralty bay. Outstanding value for money.

Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner, this romantic and relaxing restaurant features fresh dishes made with ingredients collected daily from the Plantation. Beautiful views across the palm groves with cooling Caribbean breezes.Special creole, BBQ and Jerk nights during the season.Reasonable prices, attentive service and excellent cocktails at the bar. Also a perfect location for large groups or wedding venues.
We took the plantation tour, which was fun, then had a delicious lunch here. We needed a hire car to get here from Lower Bay but it was worth it.Thank you so much for visiting us and we are glad you had a great time. All the best from Rodney and the Firefly Plantation team

Bequia Beach Hotel's main restaurant 'Bagatelle' is located right on the stunning Friendship Beach with the 'Bequia Beach Bar' just a few feet away. Offering sweeping views, Bagatelle's open beachside verandas are a favourite amongst guests, whether dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant offers an internationally inspired menu with classic Caribbean influences and dishes, the international & local Chefs strive to make full use of locally sourced produce within St Vincent & the Grenadines. Freshly caught seafood is delivered several times a week right on the beach by Bequia's local fishermen.
Fantastic venue with superb views over the beach towards Mustique. Nice table on the waterfront. Waiters came back twice to confirm our order and who ordered what.
Amuse bouche was unexpected and unremarkable.
The dressing on my garlic prawns had split. Flavour was ok.
My Marlin was overcooked, burnt on one side and dry and chewy: ruined by poor cooking. The Callaloo was nice, the breadfruit purée had sugar in it. This American habit of putting sugar in savoury food doesn't work for me.
My wife's fish stew was very good. Our friend's bisque was supposed to be a 'main' portion; it wasn't.
The complimentary coconut ice cream was superb. The rosé wine was excellent.
Basically, the food was ok but not to the standard promised.

Had a Good Friday night at Mac’s. The pizza was really good and the drinks awesome too. It is waterfront which is also nice. The only reason it doesn’t get 5* is due to the price. They definitely have the market and know it too. Would return but only for a special occasion.

We have eaten at Jack’s for both lunch and dinner. It is a great casual place to dine on one of the most beautiful Beaches in the Caribbean. Good food and atmosphere, or just stop in for a drink. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are on Bequia do not miss Jack’s. You can walk over from the end of Belmont Walkway or get a cab to take you there.

We had dinner there and the food was excellent. The people who work there are very welcoming. We had the lobster and callaloo soup and it was all great. The entertainment is ongoing and very good.

We ate dinner on "lobster night and enjoyed the grilled lobster special. Very nice bar and the additional space in the restaurant provides a very pleasant dinner. Moderately expensive for Bequia.
