We have been to this restaurant many times, and always enjoyed the excellent food. The selection of appetisers are so varied and delicious that you worry about having room for your mains! What makes Albertinos different, though is that the friendly welcome and service makes every visit seem like a special occasion!

A nice place with original menu and tasty food. The only minor was that the Sangria was too sweet. But in general I would recommend a visit!Thank you for your visit, hope to see you soon. Kind regards, The manager

This place was recommended by a close friend. We had no idea what kind of
restaurant this was except that they specialized in grilling, specifically meat.
The service is quick and friendly and the portions are immense. One steak feeds
Two people easily. Don't expect a wine list just go with local house vintages which
Is very good. The place reminds me of a beer hall and that includes the atmosphere.
Be sure to arrive early it seems to fill up all week after 9:00. Parking is on the street
And you might need your GPS to located the place.

Seen from outside this restaurant is not really inviting. We actually hesitated before entering. However, inside (at least in the room where we were seated, there is also another one) the atmosphere is quite charming with an abundant decoration of local items and pictures.
The reception is friendly and the service throughout the meal was professional.
Very early I encountered a major problem. The wine list (book) is about the longest one I have ever seen in Portugal. After long Reading and a waiter who came along a couple of times I decided for a Pedro, Casa Cadaval. First impression was OK but strangely the wine weakened during the meal. Next time (because there will be a next time!) I’ll have to continue my study of the wine list…
Not the traditional olives as starter but a wide selection of mini plates. We limited ourselves to the pigs’ ears and squid. Other starters looked also tempting but we still had a meal to go…
My main dish was an in wine marinated goat: excellent! Only miner points were the vegetables which were cold and as often is the case in Portuguese restaurants the meat contained many bone splinters.
My wife took boar on a hot stone. Tasted also excellent.
To end on a healthy note we choose as dessert the fruit selection instead of the sweets selection. Very original presentation of 9 different fruits in 9 glass bowls. You can mix and serve yourself. Trying several fruits I fell for the “pêra bêbedo” or drunken pear.
As always I ordered a coffee to end and surprise, surprise it came with a large selection of sweets… which was very much appreciated (there went the effect of a healthy dessert…).
Overall a very enjoyable meal in a nice restaurant.
Recommendable!

This has become our favourite local restaurant since we moved to this area a year ago. A family restaurant serving simple but excellent Portuguese grills, Authentic and traditional , there is no menu but service is fast and efficient. So, the selection may be small but the food excels in quality and taste.
Always a warm welcome from the staff...and the chef! The kitchen with it's huge grill is open to the restaurant which adds to the bustling lively atmosphere.
It's very popular with families so unless you plan to arrive early it is essential to book a table or be prepared to be disappointed. There is usually a queue for tables and quite often diners spill over into the adjoining cafe....that's how popular this restaurant is!!
Must recommend the very juicy vitela, cooked to perfection...it's the best I've tasted anywhere in Portugal. And a nice touch at the end of your meal .....complimentary liqueurs and cakes while you wait for the bill.

We visited this restaurant October 2016. It was absolutely excellent in every respect. The staff were friendly, inviting and attentive without being intrusive. The food was fantastic and I particularly enjoyed the Migas. Delicious meat, perfectly cooked. Extra side dishes were provided when asked for. The staff were really helpful about the area. I would absolutely highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again.

Rustic environment but good quality grill. Very popular, it is normal that you will have to queue on the weekends. And why?
It is cheap, portions are big, and quality is OK. Staff is friendly and servcie is quite fast
It is not a fancy place, but you will be happy you've eaten there

Here everything is good, but the clams...wow... there are no words to describe it. This is not a sea food restaurant, but it is fabulous the the quality of the clams and actually not only that but most of the food. The owner is very friendly and I recommend a visit.
