Stopped here on a recent road trip last weekend. Huge delicious sandwiches that include fries for an average price of $8-12. All four of us enjoyed our sandwiches ( fish sandwich, patty melt, Brutus cheese steak, and massive burger). A perfect stop for any OHIO STATE BUCKEYE fan or anyone who just likes good food.
FYI- Team up North parking is across the street!!

We came here with another couple and enjoyed a very nice dinner out on the patio.
The service was good and the food was freshly prepared....we enjoyed walking around the farm and then came to the restaurant to finish our lovely day.
It's nice to see a historical home unruined by modern dining decor...enjoyed looking at the prints and old items still kept in great condition.

My wife and I love coming to the Happy Grape. The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. The staff have always been very nice and accommodating. They have a large selection of wine and also have a respectable selection of bottled craft beer. They have a modest menu as far as food goes but it is good. They have a nice bar area and a nice patio, they will even re cork your bottle to take home!

We stopped here after looking at trip advisor and it had a good rating. Nice place with decent prices. Only reason we gave this 2 rating was because the food was good and cheap. The service on the other hand must have been not with it that day for whatever reason. We walked in with another couple. We were the only 2 couples in the place. We ordered first then the other couple. We both almost the same items. They got their items within 10 mins. Then we sat there for around 45 mins. I am usually very patient knowing things happen. But when the people we finished and the waitress didn't even inquire about us or our order I had to speak up. She said she wasn't sure what was going on. Needless to say 10 mins later we had our food. Really good food. The other problem we had was that we addressed the issue of waiting nearly an hour for our food, I never ask for discounts but I did this time. The waitress stated that the owners are usually not very lenient towards this type of thing. Then she went back for a few mins and came out and said that the owner said he would give us 10% off. Then she couldn't figure out the total off. I was thoroughly disgusted with the service today. She even told us that we didn't have to leave a tip, lol. Never heard that from a waitress. Hopefully your experiences will be better than ours. Good luck.

After a long day playing on the river and puttering around the valley, we stopped in here for some pizza. Don't get me wrong the pizza is good but they offer so much more. We also had a brisket sandwich and shrimp Alfredo that would stack up to any big city restaurant. Complete menu for any picky eaters. The service was great and the location was perfect.

The Wishmaker House Winery and Wine Bar is located inside the beautiful Wishmaker House B&B. We serve fresh, local cuisine on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4pm-9pm. Our on site winery produces 11 varieties of wine, 5 of which are award winning. Outdoor patio seating available, weather permitting.
After reading a article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer regarding the Wishmaker House, my three friends and I decided to explore the Belleville, Ohio area. The bed and breakfast did not disappoint. The home itself is magnificently appointed, warm, soft, tones set the atmosphere for a fantastic stay. The owners who are on sight mother and daughter are excellent hostesses. Their knowledge of the surrounding area and recommendations were extremely helpful. My friends and I chose the treetop room on the third floor and loved this very large room. We had everything we needed, there were three comfortable twins and a queen size bed. Dining table and full kitchenette. The bathroom was quite roomy and the spa tub was a luxury, decorated beautifully with lots of towels to spare.
Breakfast the following morning was scrumptious. My friends and I were very sorry we did not get a chance to partake of the winery as they only open on Thursday thru the weekend. But guess what we are already planning a trip back for a gals weekend when we can enjoy the winery.
Don't hesitate to make the Wishmaker House in Belleville, Ohio a part of your traveling plans, you will not be disappointed.
We even spent some time chatting up the handsome mayor!

Stopped after Malabar Farm visit. Didnt get to meet Bentley, their black dog whose history and his predecessor's is explained on the menu, but had daughter's dog with us, who was welcome on the patio. Vegetarian daughter very happy with her deep fried mac'n'cheese appetizer and quesadilla. I had the trout and herbed caper butter (on the side), a little fishy until I squeezed on the fresh lemon, then tasty. Mixed vegetables problematic, but the carrots were good (did not have the offered salad substitute) and the rice pilaf with pine nuts was very good. Mostly though, it was a beautiful and welcoming setting with the golf course view and trees behind, enjoyed while rocking gently on the wrought iron chairs. Owner seated a walk-in party of 18, and the waitress took their drinks and food orders (sandwiches) and delivered everything seeming to their satisfaction. When I went into the dining room to ask about having the dog on the patio, everyone in there also seemed to be enjoying themselves very much.

There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place but the food is good and the wait staff friendly. The portions are generous and prices reasonable. The fish sandwich is popular and you really only need to get one piece because the piece is huge. Also the hamburgers are hand pressed. Breakfast is also good.
