This past Friday (Jan 5th) we tried Alicante for the first time. This restaurant is a hidden gem to those that live outside of the Mendon/Milford area. Highly recommend this venue.
We'll be back in the warmer weather to experience this fine restaurant outside...
It's worth the drive to the little town of Mendon.. You will not be disappointed

We always enjoy our meals at Joe’s. There is a nice bar if you prefer to watch a game and enjoy the bar atmosphere where you can also eat at one of the high tables. Or enjoy the one of the larger booths in the dining room.
The menu offers a variety so most everyone will find something they like.

Elizabeth's Bagels is a hidden gem in Franklin. If you are looking for something a bit more interesting than another chain cafe, you will find Elizabeth's Bagels ideal. The selection and service are both excellent, while the food and beverages themselves are top-notch.

Had a great brunch this morning with my daughter (10 yr old). She got fried dough French Toast (what’s not to like). Wait wasn’t bad. Fun atmosphere, staff, big menu, delicious hash browns. Price very reasonable.

The food is great, the service is always friendly and it is priced for a great family meal. The homemade potato chips are amazing! Take them out of the bag to let them get really crispy. Absolutely don't forget the best shakes around!!

We were a party of eight on a Saturday evening. All were pleased with their choices.
My wife and I shared the Pork Saltimbocca and Stuffed Veal Cutlet after hearing our server Sam's recommendations and could have not been any more pleased.
We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding for dessert, also recommended by Sam.
The noise level made it difficult to hear those at the other end of the table.
Would definitely return.

Prezo "A Genuine Gem" (4 Stars) as noted by the Worcester Telegram & Gazette is Milford's best restaurant. Dine in Prezo's casual yet elegant dining room or sit at the 30 seat horseshoe bar while watching the game on one of four plasma TV's. Prezo's also features the best Sushi in the Milford area!
We used a room here to host our family and friends a rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. The staff was wonderful. Very attentive. And the food was fantastic. Everything came out hot and on time. I received so many compliments on the food.
Thank yoh for making our night special.

We love trying different places for breakfast and this one peaked our interest. The menu is quite extensive. I had to try their Irish Eggs Benedict: their homemade corn beef hash, on two English muffins, Hollandaise Sauce, two perfectly poached eggs, and a side of their home fries (some of the best I've ever tried). My friend had their French Toast and loved it, and my other friend ordered Phil' Veggie Home Fries. It looked and smelled so good, I might order it next time. We thorough enjoyed our food and will definitely come back. The staff was friendly and efficient. The booths were comfortable. The lunch and dinner menu look good too.

The King Street Cafe and Deli in Franklin, Massachusetts is just off an exit from Interstate 495. It is a well known location and we had a fifteen minute wait on a weekend for a breakfast table. The staff and kitchen do move people through quickly. Breakfast features the usual eggs, pancakes and waffles with a few Cafe specialties thrown in. The food is good but slightly over salted and the portion sizes are ample. Our server was friendly and efficient. There is parking for the large number of cars. Prices are reasonable.

Fun menu where you can take a chance on the price of your burger while the Bruins play...up $1 if the opposition scores and down $1 if the Bruins score.
Started with wings where the choices include bone in or boneless, individual or sharing size and almost a dozen choices of sauce. Tried the bourbon sauce on bone in and it was nicely sweet and saucy.
The food was mixed with the nightly special of gumbo served so hot in temperature that it sat for five minutes to cool down. The other side was my side of Mac & cheese which I probably should have sent back to heat up as it was barely warm, but it was good, creamy & cheesy. The steak tips gorgonzola where a decent entree, but even with 4 of us a shared serving of wings would have probably been enough to eat. I left half my steak tips as I was full.
Lots of TVs, good choice of draft beers and slow service. Still, overall, a good local sports bar.
