This is to my knowledge one of the oldest restaurants in Beira and it has managed to keep a good standard on its food and service. I really liked their grilled "Lulas" with garlic butter. In spite of being old it manages to keep the style of a decent restaurant.

Located in a side street of Beira's old city centre you entre the small and simple restaurant through a wooden wine cask to find yourself in a place that could be located in Lisbon's Bairro Alto. The restaurant serves from midday till late evening and is popular with local people after working hours. The typical Portuguese style place is know for its pork meat dishes, like "Carne de Porco Alentejana", as well as "Piri-Piri-Chicken", and on Sundays the famous "Cozido à Portuguêsa".

This venue is just awesome. Right on the beach and you can watch the club ski boats being launched. Had a simple lunch put together by combining a number of starters as a tapas. We had chicken livers, samosas, prawn rissoles, calamari, prawns, chicken wings...MoreThank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and that the "tapas" and beer was to your liking. Hope you will visit us again.

Not much choice in Beira town, was here for a business lunch. Copious main course plates but poor selection of desserts. Far too expensive for what was served, but this is par for the course in Beira.

After two weeks of working in Beira we were treated to a wonderful meal and great ambience. Food and surrounding was brilliant. The homely touch and personal attention is world class. Well done.

I am coming to Kanimambo for the past 8 years and it has maintained the quality of the food at all times. I never had a bad experience there.
The variety on the menu is very good. The restaurant is decorated "interestingly". You should drop by when in Beira.

A lovely view of the beach and ocean. A very eclectic decor and rather uncomfortable plastic chairs.
We were a party of three and all ordered the same thing "Omelettes".
* Our food took absolutely ages to arrive and then was lukewarm! We were the only patrons .... so no excuse there.
* The chips that came with the omelettes were awful (either dirty oil, or oil not hot enough).
* The omelettes themselves were mediocre (I've certainly had much better at other restaurants in Mozambique).
* Won't be eating there again.

This restaurant was fairly big with three floors, but at the time, dining was going on just on the first floor. It seemed like the place was catering to big events.
We had dinner and also lunch here because we were staying at the near by hotel.
We had fish and chicken piri-piri and also drinks for dinner. Service was very good.
Glad it was there.
